Wonderful meal, amazing service, great atmosphere!!! This was our first time here, and we had a wonderful meal. Really enjoyed the music and the whole atmosphere. Can’t say enough wonderful things. Crazy how much food is on your plate. I had the coconut rice, and it was great. The shrimp tacos are wonderful. Everything was good.

Not your typical Americanised Mexican cuisine. Authentic to the core. Flavors are beyond compare and freshness off the charts. Our server, Nestor, was attentive, caring to our questions and made marvelous suggestions for dining experience. I was skeptical when reading other reviews touting them as the best Mexican restaurant, but now, I’m a BELIEVER!

Velero’s is easily my favorite Mexican restaurant around. They have their own fresh spin and use inspiration from multiple different islands. The seasonal pomegranate guacamole is my personal favorite. The restaurant is clean, the bathrooms are clean, the food delicious, atmosphere is wonderful, amazing service and you leave full and happy. Instead of the usual chips and salsa you get a complimentary homemade tostitos all doctored up to perfection. If you haven’t given this place a try I HIGHLY suggest it.

This is an amazing place and anyone in the area should definitely make it a must see. The overall location is extremely clean, the entryway, the bathrooms, the dining room, very very clean and well-kept. The staff was courteous and extremely quick at taking my order and bringing out the food. The attention to detail for the food was amazing. The way they plated the entree and all the little extras made it completely amazing. And let’s not forget about the flavor. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and they were sooooooo good! It came with a salad and a side of beans. All this for 20 bucks. I absolutely loved this place and cannot say enough good things about it. Great Place!

I don’t normally write reviews, but this place is too good not to share. If you’re thinking about where to eat, this is definitely the place. It’s so cute and the staff was so friendly. They even gave us a on the house appetizer! It’s more expensive than your average Mexican restaurant, but it’s so worth it. You can tell the food was cooked with so much love, and you can tell it’s fresh. I had the steak tacos and it was delicious. The steak has so much flavor. Everything was perfect. Please do yourself a favor and eat here.

This is a pricey restaurant. We saw less than 25% capacity and they were asking for a reservation. I ordered 3 tacos al pastor, which they are very tiny for $18 bucks each, if you want to get full, you need to order of 2 (6 tiny tacos) for $36 bucks, also order a Salmon for $32 bucks, again, tiny portions.

We love going to Velero’s for the best fresh Mexican food in the area! I think I’ve tried just about all of their tacos by now, and they’re outstanding. You also can’t go wrong with churros for dessert. The service is always top-notch, friendly and quick. Only wish they had a mariachi band – maybe on Taco Tuesday – or one weekend night! I’ve been here multiple times for dinner and have grabbed lunch to go a few times as well and I keep coming back!
