Just finished the food like, three minutes ago, we ordered the nachos, Gordita, and campechano tacos (3). First thing, the woman who waited us was very friendly! She was quick to seat us and take our order and was very polite during it! She gave us salsa and chips, which I have to say it literally the best salsa I have ever had, and I usually don’t like salsa! When we got our food, it was delicious and well prepared! The atmosphere was very homey and casual, and the place was overall super clean and lovely, the tables had little drawings on them. I can definitely say that my family and I are going again soon!

This place is amazing! Stopped in today on a whim, wanted to try something different, and just wow! Staff was super friendly, restaurant is well decorated, and the food was amazing! Portions are generous – we got the Gorditas, chilaquiles and a beef taco (two of us) and couldn’t eat half the food. Definitely recommend stopping in if you want delicious Mexican in the area.

Went for the first time tonight and it is very good! Tacos were more like street tacos which I love! The carnitas one was tastier than the chicken one. The guacamole was really good also. Smooth and creamy. The salsa has like a liquid smoke to it – different and also good! Also very happy to see that it had more seating than I remembered from previous ice cream tenant.

My family and I visited De Cantera for the first time Saturday. The ambiance is very relaxing and inviting. The decor is colorful full of traditional Mexican art. We absolutely loved the food! Nothing like authentic Mexican food! The tacos, garlic shrimp and guac are delectable. Our server Martha was phenomenal. She was very friendly, attentive and efficient. I would highly recommend De Cantera. Great for families!

Some of on-the-side options were not on the side, but added to the meal. No option was given for rice or beans for burrito. French fries were included, instead. We would have rather have had rice and beans. Prices were a bit high, but the food was good.
