We always come here whenever we come to Indiana Beach and this year we tried the breakfast buffet and it was very good. They kept it well supplied with hot tasty food and I personally love that I could also get a salad after having biscuits and gravy, bacon, and eggs. I then had gravy over pancakes and French toast I must say best French toast ever with or without the gravy!!

Not clean and untidy. Cafeteria workers actually don’t understand any English, so you better speak Spanish, if not, then they won’t understand not a word you say, then they’ll give you that crazy look. Waitresses are annoying. Busgirls do as little work as possible and look bewildered if you ask them for help with anything. The restaurant itself is in need of a major overhaul of updating, but they’ll never do that. The place is disgusting and their food literally stinks. I will never be going back.

Stopped in for late breakfast with the kiddos and we were very pleased with everything – especially the service and the quality of food given the price. Two adults meals, a kids meal, and a cup of coffee for under $34. We will definitely be back again. Shoutout to Shannon she was great.

Awful service and food, waited an hour and a half sitting in my booth waiting for my order, and received watered down shrimp Alfredo with the tails still in it, while my mother received a soggy, cold turkey bacon sandwich. The service was even worse than the food however, as I ordered a water and a coke to start out with and only received this water at the END of my meal with what looked like pepper sprinkled on the top, after asking 3 separate times for the water. I also only got my side salad at the end of the meal after I asked the waitress why I never received a side despite the menu stating that I should’ve. The salad was wet yet crunchy, tasting like frozen then defrosted lettuce. The ranch, with water-like consistency, pooled at the bottom of the salad. My mother also only got her soup, included in the meal, after asking 4 separate times and getting a play-dough tasting French onion cream. I will never step foot in this place again and I heavily advise against anyone dining here in the future.

We’re from out of town, so we were looking for a place for breakfast and chose Esmeraldas. It was very good food! The service was great! I had a #5 with half a waffle. Excellent! I’d recommend this place for sure.

Probably best restaurant in Monticello.Waitress very active, good memory.. Always moving and making sure everyone has coffee.Let some patrons younger children get out of control. Just an old man whose parents were a tad bit more disciplined with their children.

I have visited this restaurant twice now. The first experience was great! We were told a 20 minute wait, but within 5 minutes we were seated. The menu has so many choices of awesome food. I seen the Sunday breakfast buffet. It has hot food for any food lover! There is also fresh fruit and awesome freshly squeezed orange juice. I have issues with dirty restrooms. They were amazingly clean. I couldn’t find one bad thing to say about the restaurant. The server Lynn is awesome. She is very prompt and never let’s you run empty on the drinks. I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant! I have been there twice an will continue to go back. If you go ask for Lynn she will treat you well. Look at this photo that hangs on the wall, and see what you can find?
