Been going here since high school (back in 2016-2017). Went back this week just for memory’s sake, and can happily say it’s still just as good! The server was very nice. I really liked the plating the food. Conveniently placed as it’s near soho, union square, and greenwich village. It’s quite literally footsteps from Washington Sq Park. Big plus, the bathroom is a single stall and gender neutral.

I loved this ramen because it was not greasy / oily. Unfortunately they do not serve upon so I ordered curry ramen. Half the ingredients are cold which I did not like. I prefer everything hot. But it was actually delicious. The atmosphere was nice. Big and roomy with a definite Japanese vibe to it. The waiters were excellent.

The best ramen place I have ever been to. I’ve been going for almost a year now, and I have enjoyed every single visit. The food is so flavorful, the waiters are sweet, and everything down to the decoration is beautiful. I was here on halloween and the waiters dressed up as squid game characters. It was so crowded but so much fun, and the service stayed excellent. I went again recently with my two younger cousins and my grandma and the youngest ate everything so fast ; he loved it! The chef(s) definitely work very hard and it is appreciated. This place is amazing and I would love to see more of these open up in the future!

I’ve been to Takumi multiple times and HAD great service every time but this night left a bad taste in my mouth. I was with my two other friends and we were seated. As we were talking and looking at the menu, we were approached by the waitress who asked us if we were ready. Since I was the closest to her, I was gonna give my order but I forgot the name of what I wanted. I was trying flipping through the menu to find it, but she just gave us a look and left right there and then.
