Reasonably priced AYCE hot pot. My husband and I tried this out after seeing an advertisement on Instagram and we were not disappointed. The self serve sauce station has a lot of options and tasty sauces and toppings you can customize to your liking. The vegetable and seafood bar comes with the package and we were very surprised at the options provided as part of the all you can eat price. This includes unexpected things like fresh crab, shrimp, and mandu.

Really enjoy the all you can eat aspect of this place. They don’t make it easy with the meat they bring out is somehow cut thinner than a piece of paper. They have good options like vegetables and noodles available as much as you want to add to the soup. The spicy pork broth was good. Came out to be $36.50 after tax per person. So not exactly cheap.

I really like this hot pot place. There are so many options in Irvine, but I always want to come back to this one. The price is good and even one order is enough to share with 2 people. I recommend getting the extra meat and sharing. This is always great too on a chilly night and they also have a patio so you can bring your dog too and enjoy.

So delicious and we can’t wait to come back! We love good quality hot pot / shabu but don’t love long lines/crowds, so dPot is an excellent choice! dPot’s spacious restaurant with plenty of seating meant that we were able to snag a table for two on a whim. We tried:

Food was different. The restaurant was clean. Service wasn’t bad. But, their Steam Stack didn’t look all that appetizing. It came with a cold udon, porridge, and steamed meat (thinly sliced)with steamed Napa cabbage. I found the Steam Stack to be too bland despite dipping it in a spicy sauce. And, it was a bit difficult to eat. After a while, I got sick of it. The food was decent but didn’t entertain my taste buds.

They now have changed to all you can eat. Meats are good the seafood don’t seem fresh. Especially the clams are pre cooked and not fresh. Liked their set menu better before.

I was only been to Buena Park location and it was my first time visiting here at Irvine location. Their location was amazing! Their mall was located right in front of a lake, and nice desert stores and playground were super pluses for my young daughter. The restaurant was very neat and clean. I ordered Galbi Eye with Spicy Thai which is my regular menu at dPot Buena Park. Our orders came out very quickly and their portion seems a little bigger than other location. The vegetables were very fresh and the meat quality was A+. I tried some of Prime Rib Eye from my wife’s order, and it was very good, too. But personally, I love my Galbi Eye better since it has a little more texture and flavor in my opinion. Also, we ordered a Fried Cauliflower for our daughter and it was so yummy! This will be my must add-on from now on. All servers were very kind and tried to fill out anything that we needed. We had a great time since the food was great and their service was great as well! Definitely, we will come back here again, soon!

This place was truly excellent! My mom and I are pretty critical but we had a great experience. The red broth was perfect – savory and spiced and complex but not oily or overly salty. The quality of the meat was really great, and the portions were large! This was fantastic and I hope they have success because we’d like to come back – and are especially appreciative that they have outdoor dining!

Used to be one of the best for the price. Service was always great. With the new menu, it’s just as generic and overpriced as the rest. No more take out also. Used to feed my family of 3 for $50, now it’s not even worth it.
