This was my first time visiting and I must admit that this establishment has a different/unique style of cuisine. They put a different twist to Fried Rice. Your rice can be prepared with a choice of roasted chicken, ham, rib rips or bologna. I ordered roasted chicken fried rice and an egg roll. They also sell wings, fish and burgers. I live in PA. My husband is from Memphis, and we’re visiting his family for a few days. My husband has been talking about how amazing the rice is here. He wasn’t kidding. It’s absolutely the best rice I’ve ever had. They give you a lot, especially for the price. 100% recommend!

My first time coming here I drove from Cordova after working my 12 hour hospital shift 7-7. I called to place my order 3 times but there was no answer. After proceeding from Cordova, I arrived at 7:40 and was told no more orders were being placed (no one was in line and they close at 8). I told the lady at the window how far I drove and also offered a tip to pay extra but was still turned around and told I should have called (even though they didn’t answer). I was extremely upset and disappointed. Yesterday I was finally able to eat at this place and tbh God spared me the first time by not getting to eat here. Oh what a disappointment! My boyfriend had chicken fried rice and I had a beef fried rice. Firstly, it seemed to be 12 year olds at the window working. The rice was very hard and flavorless. Ramen noodles could have outshined them flavor wise. This was absolutely the worst rice we have ever eaten. I’m not sure if they just threw something together because it was the end of the day, but I will not be back nor recommend this establishment. Horrible customer service, and overrated hard tasteless rice. This place is also inconveniently located far from most areas in Memphis. 0/10!!! The attempt to support a blk owned business is once again a fail. We have to do better!

Tired of plain rice! KC’s rice is anything but plain! Smoked to perfection EVERYTIME! I have drove clean across town to get this rice and it is worth it! Always fresh, always ready when I get there, and always a smile from the workers keeps me coming back!

I always call my order in so I do not have to wait. I always order the combonation smoked rice. It is enough for me to have two meals. There is a subtle hint of smokey taste in the meats. I like how friendly they are. It is not easy to see between these yellow entry gates.
