This is NOT the place to take your date to. The music was so loud, we both spent the dinner yelling across the table. The waiter also had to yell for us to hear him and he said the owner liked the music at that volume so he couldn’t turn it down. Ok sure, but the food wasn’t even great to compensate for the bad atmosphere. We ordered the hamachi, yakitori, duck fried rice, and spicy miso ramen. The fried rice was the only thing that tasted amazing, the rest were just okay. All the portions were tiny and we were both still hungry at the end. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

First time eating here and glad we got there at 5pm, there was a line of people waiting to get in. Service was good, the menu was a little hard to read with small letters and weird layout. Food was pretty good with small plates. Not really my style of eating but had to try it, my wife liked it and said she would eat here again. Definitely worth trying but get there early cause it fills up quickly with limited space.

This was an all around great experience! I don’t think I could find a bad thing to say if I tried. Staff was super friendly and attentive, water was never empty, food came out fast. And the food was just fantastic, everything we tried was great and so full of flavor. The croquette mushrooms really stood out, I will probably get those any time I go, but I want to try everything on the menu now.

Amazing Japanese food. We had two orders of pork dumplings …to die for. We had giant squid which was so tasty. The vibe was great in the restaurant but there was a wait so we sat at the bar. That was cool because we could see everything made.

My new favorite restaurant! Friends took us here for the first time and it was absolutely amazing! The rice tots are a must! The staff was super friendly and the menu was like nothing I’ve had before! I really liked the atmosphere they’ve got some pretty wild decorations! This is a great place to take friends or family. I highly suggest you eat here if you’re visiting Reno!

Amazing food! I mean amazing! Cool ambiance, if not the music was quite loud… No desserts, but plenty of delicious options to fill up on. Would definitely highly recommend and planning to return again soon in the future. Don’t miss this one, very well worth it.

Great new hot spot for dining in Reno. If you’re looking for a true Japanese ramen, this is the closest as you will get in town. Inside is has a very modern feng shui. (Beware of the bear in the bathroom, tho lol). Food was prepared with excellent attention to detail and cooked perfectly. Lots of vegetarian options and ingredients you would not find anywhere else. The Japanese pickles were one of my favorites. If ordering the ramen, be sure to order early as it does take time to make that perfect broth. Seating is limited and not advised for large groups. Definitely a must try in the Reno area.
