My review is based mainly on my opinion about the food that I tried.

The location is great. We sat on the patio because there is really no bad time of the year to sit outside in Southern California (I say this as a visitor and not someone that lives there).

We randomly got into this restaurant. Cos it looked very popular. After we got seats and food, I think I will come here have lunch or dinner again

To give an idea how good their food is, we drove 2hrs. in Sat. traffic from HB, just for lunch. My wife LOVES the sizzling shrimp fajita. Which is truely the absolute best anywhere! The carmalized coating the developes on the shrimp is to die for. My favorite is the Huachinango a la Veracruzana. It’s not on the menu any more, but I asked for it and it was my lucky day! Chef Journey offered to make it for me and boy did he pull out all the stops. He made the most fenomenal H.V. I’ve ever had. Even better than in Guadalajara. He added his own special bonus & trimmed it out with shrimp, muscles & huge scallops! It was pure heaven. Thank you so much, Journey, (if you’re reading this). We usually go out there about once a year. Perhaps more more often in the future.

I’ll start by stating I really like the flavor of the surf and turf fajitas. We also had a spicy and pomegranate margarita that were very well made. The only meal complaint to make was the corn tortillas were so hard on the edges it was hard to chew. We skipped the tortillas and just ate the sizzling fajita plate. The shrimp were big and awesome. The ribeye was soft and pleasant.

The mushroom tacos tasted delicious! However , they are served as one big fat mushroom on top of the corn tortilla, making it extremely difficult to eat as is. Had to tear the mushroom apart to eat it.

This is coming from somone who eats in a lot of restaurants the food was okay customer service is good and the drinks are such a let down. You are not going to get a good serving and im not joking when i tell you its 90% ice. Almost like no alcohol at all. Prices are good. Drinks are not served equally. I dropped by my friends table and the drinks they have which are the same but its more a generous serving. When i review im not critical. More reasonable rather. Overall a good experience. But drinks not a good experience. Food is decent.
