Ordered pizza to go for about 10 people.

Just stopped last night for the first time. Nice setting; fine staff; wonderful food. Will go again. Great traditional Italian cuisine.

This place stinks. The calamari tastes like it has been dead at the bottom of a fish tank for a week. The fried items I tasted were not good and I suspect they don’t change the oil in the fryer often enough. Also, they love to forget to put items you have requested in the take away bag so you get home and don’t have your whole order. Honestly, chef boyardee has more authentic and better tasting food in a can than this hole in the wall.

I enjoyed my veggie lasagne, which was slightly different (veggies on the bottom, in sauce, topped with a large, flat pasta and then melted cheese). My husband had a different dish from their vegetarian menu section, which was quite impressive. Our server was fast, knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. It was a very nice dining experience, and we will go back if we return to Culpeper.

Like the other below average reviews, this restaurant was highly recommended but did not live up to expectations. I got the fettuccine carbonara with a Caesar salad and bread sticks. Every item was underwhelming. The pasta had ham (Canadian bacon) in it instead of prosciutto or even bacon and was more of a generic fettuccine dish than a carbonara. The staff are very nice and polite, however.

Ordered the fettuccine alfredo. The sauce was very creamy (more American style). While the sauce was good, the chicken was dry and bland. The garlic bread was brioche style buns – not very good. Willing to try another dish though.

One of Culpeper’s best restaurants! We absolutely love their veggie pizza, but there are so many other delicious items! Whether you stop in or take out…give them a try!

The food was below average. The salad was watery, calamari was not crispy, instead it was chewy. The hot water in the bathroom sinks didn’t work. Plus the server served food to this other table before us and just dropped off the dishes and said “you’re welcome” before we even had a chance to say thank you. It was some older man, I do not remember his name, but the passive aggressiveness was not okay. Happy that he helped us with the WiFi though.

My husband ordered the chicken parm and it wasn’t even breaded! He asked about it and they said that’s how they make it. Please don’t pretend to serve Italian food if you don’t even know the basics

Took my wife and kids for dinner at Luigi’s after been leaving on Culpeper for 17 years and sad to say it wasn’t good at all .
