I have to admit, the first time I went to the Irons Steakhouse… I didn’t expect much. However, I was blown away by the entire dining experience.

We have dined at Iron Steakhouse many times and usually over order and are stuffed. This time, I tried the Almond Crusted Salmon and shared the loaded garlic smashed potatoes with my husband. Hands down, the Salmon has been the best, for me, thus far. The atmosphere is quiet and the service is always spot on. So, we actually had room to share a dessert, and went with the Tiramisu. It was more of a creamy pudding texture, but still good. I did glance at someone’s Cheesecake with blueberry sauce, and that looked awesome!

The steak was absolutely amazing and melted like butter in my mouth. I had it Oscar style, and the lump crabmeat and asparagus was so big it was my sides. Amazing staff and great experience. Worth every bite. Great selection of bourbon, including my personal favorite, Jeffersons Ocean.

Was a little nervous at the beginning. Went a little early for our 6 pm reservation (Wed night) and the lady at the hostess stand didn’t appear too happy to see us. She said there was only one server and requested we wait 15 min. Husband requested we could wait at a table and just get our drinks. She obliged. The waiter was awesome and wasn’t overwhelmed or rushed at all. He explained everything and you get free bread while you wait. Food was out quick and it was delicious!!! The bill was $80 before tip but it was very good! The Prime Rib was tender and cooked perfectly.

The manager(Patrick) and our waitress (Natasha) were so hospitable! The atmosphere is great, although I’m not a fan of the wiff of cigarette smell you get every now and then, but the food and service really makes up for it. My mom and I ordered a few of their items and they were all DELICIOUS!

Truly one of the greatest dining experiences of my life. I have eaten at many of the best restaurants in Nashville, but this topped them all. The food is incredibly imaginative without being pretentious. Exciting without being experimental for the sake of it. The flavor combinations were unexpected, but inspired. The starter of coconut scallops with pineapple gastrique and harrisa cream was mind-blowingly good and set the stage for the yumminess that followed. The lamb with Banyul reduction was unlike anything I’ve ever had….in a very good way. I could live on the roasted bone marrow. Desserts were exceptional. Kudos to the chef for creating a coconut milk panna cotta with such perfect texture. The espresso creme brulee was a perfect marriage of creamy custard with slightly bitter espresso notes, a brulleed sugar layer taken to exactly the right level of caramelization (just on the edge of too dark), and a light vanilla bean whipped cream to temper it all. This was so balanced that I am embarrassed to say I ate every bite of it.

GREAT Ribeye steak cooked perfectly! I’ve had 80 dollar steaks in Nashville that weren’t as good as the one at Irons and it was half the price! Sides were delicious and very good menu selection. I’m not a drinker but they have a great bar with some higher end bourbons and wine. So glad to have this restaurant close so I don’t have to drive into Nashville to get a great meal! Highly recommend!

Worse service I have seen at a nice high end restaurant. Sat at the bar it wasn’t terribly busy. It took 20 minutes just for anyone to ask us if we would like a drink. We made reservations 2 hrs prior. Reservations were at 8:15. We waited until 8:23. My husband asked the waitress how much longer it would be, and her reply was I still have to wait on 2 tables before you. Needless to say we walked out at that point.

We came here for our Anniversary tonight! I made reservations through OpenTable for 5pm. At 6:15, we walked out of the restaurant after being ignored for the first 15 minutes after being seated. Finally someone took our order that we never got. We waited for another 40 minutes and just got up and left. I used to love this place but the service now is horrible. So we are going to celebrate our anniversary elsewhere. The Mint and the Iron Steakhouse lost good customers tonight. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!
