Got there during their Happy hour. Only few items were available to order. Saw people arrive and leave because of the limited menu. We stayed and the food we ordered was good. It took a while to get (there was only 3 couples/customers, but overall good.

Consistently great food and service. The wine selection is good. The owner engages with guests and we’ve never felt neglected whether at a table or the bar. The tacos and artichoke are our usual go-to, but seriously, we’ve had nothing bad here. The atmosphere is also just really comfortable.

Nice casual and friendly atmosphere. The food is good, but most of the entrees are meat dishes. I understand from dining companions that a variety of those entrees have been very good, but I prefer seafood and found their seafood options to be few in number. The scallops that I tried were good, but a bit overcooked. The vegetable sides were excellent. The wait staff is helpful, but not always the most attentive.

Delicious food and comfortable but nice atmosphere. My waiter was very helpful in helping me choose wines for my flight (and they were all excellent). While I was there, one of the owners was wandering around making sure everyone was satisfied with their dinner. If I am ever back in Lompoc, I will definitely be returning to Scratch Kitchen!

This restaurant seems a bit out of place for a town like Lompoc. The food quality and the presentation is unlike any other in this town. The sword fish special I had tonight was the best I have ever had. Although the menu items may be a bit pricey for some people, for the quality, it’s well worth it.

Most of all of us, a large group, had no trouble and enjoyed our food very much. We had a really good waitress.

We went for the Easter buffet and it was definitely not what we expected. We’ve been several times, the service is always great and the food was good but the buffet (at $30/person) was basically dried up food as we were near the end of the buffet window. We had a reservation so they knew a party of 4 would be there but we still had to ask for several items that were empty in the buffet line. The carving station had the end of a chunk of beef that was well done and looked dry… disappointing to say the least. So, the buffet is no longer on our list but lunch has always been good!
