My kids and I were on a road trip from Chicago, we were going to go to Olive Garden because it’s what we know… One of my kids found Mario’s and we like trying Mom and Pop type places!!! We ate here and we don’t regret it!!! This puts Olive Garden to shame!!! The portions were great, the taste was amazing, and the service was excellent!!! Coming from Chicago, a place known for its food, we would def eat here again if we come back and visit N.C.

Prices here are very good. Had pizza and it was very good and arrived quickly. I think people are not aware it is here as it is hidden behind Dunkin. I hope people find it so it doesn’t go out of business. They have a lunch special that is only $5.99 for two slices of cheese pizza and a drink which is a great price. The only issue I found was with the tea. Either they didn’t clean out the tea dispenser or they had old tea in it as it was very bitter. I know some restaurants don’t bother rinsing the tea dispenser each day or they may try to save unused tea for the next day. That’s exactly how it tasted. But with a soda fountain there I was able to switch to soda which was fine. I’ll definitely be coming back. It’s probably one of the lowest cost Italian places around and it’s good food.

We absolutely love coming here…. We used to buy while pizzas but now that it’s just me and my husband we get the lunch special have a slice each and add a antipasto and another drink. Perfect amount of food!

Just ordered a pizza here for the first time and will probably be my last! First gave my pizza to the wrong person. 2nd fixed it by just throwing the extra toppings on, 3 not even hot!

Food is so good. Our go to spot. Being from up north, it’s hard to find solid pizza but this place knows how to do it- best garlic knots in Raleigh! The one time we had an order miscommunication, they instantly fixed the order free of charge. 10/10 would recommend.

Marios Pizza is awesome The food is very close to walking into a Long Island pizza joint, like I said close not the same. But this is my go to Pizza place for many dishes that include reg pizza, Sicilian pizza, calzone, zeppoles, meatball. Give it a try, the staff is also pleasant.

Fantastic NY style pizza – both the crust and sauce has great flavor and they use high quality mozzarella cheese. Salads are fresh, cold and crisp. Other dishes we really like are the eggplant parm, spinach rolls, and chicken marsala… and the zeppolis are huge and delicious! Great casual dining. Staff is super accommodating and Mario and his family work super hard to make your meals delicious — every time. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem.
