First off I was going to King taco, then I found this place and Tijuana style tacos are one of my favorites. Decided to give this place a try, I went in and everything seemed like an authentic Tijuana style taqueria. First a nice Asian man asked for his carry out and the cashier said WAIT! in a very aggressive tone , then I proceeded to order and the cashier cut me off once a white customer came in. He decided to help them instead of me and my party. Even though we came in first. He was extremely friendly with the white customer and once he was finished with them. His attitude changed from friendly to aggressive. I was scared and I have never been scared at a taqueria. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values customer services. The asada tastes chewy and dry at the same time. The adobada is TASTELESS and unsalted.None of the sauces have a good taste but the guacamole was fresh. I should have just gone to king taco instead of this scamming place. If a white person were to ask me what tacos do I recommend him I would maybe recommend this place. But if your a person of brown skin I would not come here.

Decent taco takeout place. No long wait, pretty fast, friendly staff. Parking can get pretty crowded in old town. Very small location with limited seating. The tacos themselves were pretty good. I tried a variety of meat and they were all solid choices, none really stuff out. The guac and tostados were okay—not worth the price. Would come back again to grab a quick meal and just beeline for the tacos or quesadillas.

This place is quite the stop. If I was ever in the area I’d definitely swing by again. Had their vampiro tacos as well as their regular ones as well. Got the usual on the menu including the quesadilla. The quesadilla isn’t like your usual big soft flour tortilla but like a tostada size. Their mushroom taco was pretty darn good, better than expected. Their variety of sauces were great but the spiciest was the least expected, via green. You also know it’s legit when they have the toasted chili/garlic blended in oil/fat sauce. The food wasn’t as heavy and I felt light after eating all those items. Definitely worth a try and it’s a bit different than your typical taco place, but overall delicious. Also it’s more of a small togo/stand shop so no seats to really sit but you stand on the counter to eat. If it ever gets busy you might have to try to figure out a way to eat somewhere.

Im a taco truck connoisseur and a foodie. I thought It was time to finally try this place; it’s never busy but I was curious. “GOOD GOD Almighty” this is the worst, over priced avocado filled tacos, and l love avocado. No tase hardly any meat small and I will NEVER get food for my family from here again. I can’t believe how bad that place is we were allll disappointed, take that sh$&t back to where it came from . Sorry not sorry.

We were excited to try this place since it was recommended by our hotel. Tortillas are freshly made for every taco. How ever we were disappointed on flavor. Tacos al pastor/adobada were flavorless. No adobe taste at all. The only good thing is that they serve a lot of guacamole on your taco. And that’s it. Staff was nice. Clean place. The rest of my party didn’t like it either.

Definitely not like the OG street version in K Town that I tried a few years back, but hit the spot on this day. The version I tried before, with the service, banter and meat right off the trompo by the master was perfect. If anything, the prices were high for the times (a few years before Covid), but otherwise all good.
