We went on a Sunday afternoon. There were several customers. The man taking orders was very pleasant. He brought our order to the table and remembered what everyone in our party ordered. The food was good. We were pleased. I can’t speak for all the 1 star reviews. Really the only improvement that I saw could be made is trash. The trash cans outside were all overflowing and the one in the bathroom was too, but maybe that was just due to them being busy?

This DQ has been out of chocolate ice cream for the past 4 times we have come here. Yesterday we came through and got small vanilla cones. Let me tell you, they looked like a junior size for a small child. And to top it off I had something hard in my cone!

I’ve reached out twice to corporate twice to give the opportunity for them to make this right. But I ordered a cake days in advance, I went to pick it up and they couldn’t find the cake or the cake order. After the manager was called they magically found my cake. It was the wrong colors so I’m 100 percent certain they threw it together in the 30 minutes they were “looking” for it. This ruined my daughter’s birthday party and I was charged full price even though it wasn’t what I ordered. In addition to the horrible experience, I was never contacted by the franchise owner as I was told both times I contacted corporate that I made them aware of this situation. Extremely disappointing all the way around.

We were in the drive-thru line before the restaurant closes at 9:00. Waited 15 minutes in the line and when we finally got to the window to order, the girl told us they were closed. I called the manager and he asked me if she took my order. Well No, she didn’t because she just told me y’all were closed after we waited in the line for 15 minutes! It would’ve been nice if someone would have told us before we waited! We will not be back.

Pulled in 20 Minutes before closing (to a FAST FOOD restaurant) for a scruffy and unkempt guy to tell us that the store is supposed to close at 10 but “everyone went home early” then proceeded to close the window in our face, sit back down to talk to the other kid sitting with him….

I was going through the drive-thru to order a blizzard, the sign clearly states that if it’s not served upside down at the window that you automatically get a free blizzard next time. The young woman handed it to me without turning it upside down, and I immediately asked her if I’m entitled to a free blizzard. She just said “no sir, we don’t really do that here at this location.” I know this is false because every other person does it when I have ordered one. If this location really doesn’t have this policy then they shouldn’t have it on their sign.

The Wade Hampton store has on the website and Google listing that the store opens at 10:30. I’m on a tight time frame and have been at the doors, and calling but the doors are locked. There was an employee sitting on the floor with ear pods in and after knocking for a while she finally saw me and said they weren’t open. I need to get this birthday cake for a kid and I could have easily gone somewhere else but now I’m kinda screwed on time because I chose Dairy Queen.

I don’t know who’s in charge of this location, but customer service is the worst I have experienced. I was trying to ask about the status of my order and one of the workers, look at me, walk away and when he came back, he had headphones on, just the most rude thing I have ever seen, he got me very upset and I reacted wrong but if you don’t show respect to your customer, don’t expect to be respected. I will never go back here, and I will spread the word of how these young adults behave in this place

I walked out disappointed because I paid ALMOST $10.00 for a milkshake & hot fudge sunday, & they were about as plain as plain could be, nothing fancy, there wasn’t even any whipped cream on top, & the hot fudge Sunday wasn’t even what I ordered, I just settled for, because people don’t listen! And then they make you feel like your the 1 who must have ordered wrong most of the time. It has got RIDICULOUS!!!! And it’s everywhere you go. Not just DQ. But really? $10.00 is a crazy price for a sm Sunday & med milkshake!! I think I will get my ice cream products somewhere else from now on.
