A surprisingly vast selection of food! Not just your typical American/ Chinese food but quite a few choices of standard American food. Also, a pretty decent amount of sushi of surprising quality. Service was quick and helpful, although our server stood directly behind our table and just kinda staired. It was a little uncomfortable. Without drinks, my total bill for 2 people was $45. You get what you pay for.

This was my first time trying this buffet since the new name/ownership. Food is okay. Pretty much what you would expect from a buffet like this. Nothing great, in my opinion.

Great food and sushi The only downside was the customer service, which was not the greatest…

The food was Okay. The fries were super cold, but once we told the server and he made the kitchen aware and in 5 minutes he came out to our table and served fresh French fries.

As of April 2023, Regal Buffet is still the best Chinese Buffet Restaurant in the Reading area. Lots of good Chinese and American offerings. Clean surroundings. I especially like their Hot & Sour Soup (today it was particularly “hot”) and their chilled steamed (large) shrimp. Also try their soft serve ice cream and deserts. This is an enormous restaurant with room for groups of any size. Expect a pleasant family atmosphere, reasonable prices, and attentive servers. Yes, it’s a bit worn, but it is a comfortable and safe place for everyone and anyone to eat tasty Chinese and American dishes. Plastic gloves are available for those who want them and the servers are (still) masked. This buffet can easily accomodate larger parties. Want hand sanitizers or gloves? They have them available. Try them now!

Myself and 4 other family members went there to try it out tonight since new owners bought it. There was a wide variety of everything you could imagine. They also had American foods as well if you prefer that over Chinese. The desserts were to die for!! The cost was I guessing reasonable due to the Covid I think a lot of places raised their prices a bit. It was 16.95 per person, I got water with lemon to drink that was free. The other 4 family members got soda, refills were free but they cost 2.19. Plus 5.00 and change our bill was 99.00 and change. But all in all our experience was delightful. They were quick to remove dirty plates off table. They had hand sanitizer plus clear gloves, not rubber gloves next to plates if you wish to use them whilst getting your food. All the food items we all picked out on both trips to the buffet were all excellent. Not one bad thing to say about the food. Oh, I did try fresh Dragon Fruit for the first time…awesone.i would definitely recommend this Chinese Buffet to everyone – even if it’s just to try it out for yourself. I forgot to mention it, due to my not having any, but they do have great soup as well…..UPDATE this place is under new management. It’s is so much better. I think I waddled out I ate so much. Lol

The food was tasty. The host is not very friendly when he seated us. But the waiter was ontop of keeping the plates cleared. The restaurant itself was very clean and a variety of food selection was a nice amount.

Excellent food. The only thing I didn’t like was certain servers didn’t pay attention. Examples: when they come through to replenish your drink, just make sure they are not taking your cup and another tables cup at the same time and refilling the wrong cup. I was watching like a hawk, plus my cup was different from the one i had with straw in it, im sitting right at my table right next to the soda stand. I was pretty upset when they had my soda cup mixed up with another tables cup. Trying to knock two birds out with one stone, I get it, but they’re all supposed to give you a new cup, new straw every time you get a refill, covid days are nothing to deal with, or someone could have a illness that can be transmitted by saliva….

Price per person was expensive, they even charge for our 2 infants. Brought our receipt during our meals and even demanded a tip. We lost our appetites and left. These people are all about money and doesn’t care about the average person especially black minorities. That’s my observation. Never going back there!!
