My family was in to visit from Delaware Ohio. We went to the new animal park, and had dinner at Skyline. The waitress had been there since 6am and she was the only waitress. She was PHENOMENAL! I’m sure she was exhausted but never once did it show. Service with a smile, VERY patient with our young wild children, everything was taken care of in a VERY timely manner… and of course, food was delicious as always! The last time my family came down, we visited bob evans and waited 30 minutes on drinks, over an hour on food that was served cold and incorrect, and never once checked on for refills in our over 2 hour dining. So this experience was definitely refreshing for us! Thank you Skyline, for serving our community throughout the years and always providing great food and service!

Had the best meal. I love watching the planes coming in and landing then taking off. The food is great. The servers are phenomenal. You can tell they love their customers as they have many regulars. Whether you are flying or driving into Portsmouth. Make sure you put Sklyine Family Restaurant on your radar. You will love it!

I have been wanting to try this place for years because I have heard so much good stuff about it . Well I tried it and I will never go back . They served burnt sausage with the pancakes. My western omelette that I was really looking forward to had nothing but burnt veggies and small bits of ham in the middle with a melted slice of cheese on the top. I forced as much down as I could because I didn’t want to be rude about it . But what topped it off , they served my spouse frozen mushrooms and his Ruben didn’t have hardly any meat in it just old sour q and to much dressing . Was not worth the wait . My spouse had eaten there a few weeks ago and the pancake was not fully cooked . He only returned because I wanted to try it . Another thing is why would they allow anyones nails to be a mile long that is just screaming bacteria and dirty butt … having nails a decent size is one thing but this young girl had nails way to long to be dealing with food in a restaurant.

My family and I were tired of fast food so we wanted to try home cooked foods. Good food, not that pricey. Great atmosphere where you can sit, relax, and enjoy the airplane runway outside the restaurant windows, lots of plane pictures, which is pretty cool!

Tbh Just Piss Poor Quality, I’ve Had 4 Bad Experiences and Trust And Believe The Last 3 I Was Invited For… The Servers Are Wonderful, But The Food? Sad Fr, I Am A 2 Time Coastal Magazine Award Winning Chef and Have 7+ years Experience In The Industry… so to see the owner on here calling customers idiots, saying their opinions on food HIS place served them in the first place… it’s sad… I don’t speak for all chefs/ small resturant or buisness owners but for the most part we do this because we love it and we get paid in compliments and the fact that we put out good product… my only advice is put forward a better attitude first so that the menu and food quality will follow

I was dreading this place because it is in the airport diner. Big surprise! Loved it! Delicious fried green tomatoes and meatloaf. Courtney, our server entertained us with her wit. Made the stop in dinner extra special with good conversation. We are going back with our complete family in tow.
