Found this place by accident while looking for a wholesale seafood shop. They were out of the blue crabs but that was due to the storms. We got some great Alaskan crab legs, a grouper filet and scallops. It was very good. The restaurant appeared to be closed.

I was in search of great fresh seafood and that’s what I got! I’m from Florida but i must say this food was the best I’ve had. The oysters abs the shrimp were fresh and tasted AWESOME! the tarter sauce was so good i brought some to bring back to Florida with me. My husband isn’t a seafood lover but he that this place was great! Can’t wait until our next visit!

New location, and still “settling in” I think. Primarily a seafood store that offers “you buy-we fry” option. No seating that I noticed so it’s to go for all. The two dinner plates we had were very good. One shrimp & one oysters/fish combo. Seafood was fresh and well prepared. Hushpuppies were frozen variety and very forgettable. Good slaw and each plate included cocktail & tartar sauce, the oyster combo included what I think was horseradish sauce, but tasted mostly like mayo. French fries were fresh cut and coated with cornmeal spice batter neither of us liked . Biggest surprise was size of check-two dinners $40.00. Perhaps a work in progress.

I vacation in Myrtle Beach every summer and this place has some of the best food I have had in Myrtle Beach. The prices are very affordable and the portions were large. I will definitely be eating here again. I usually don’t leave reviews but after eating here I had to leave a five star review. This place is just that good.

Traveled over 6 hours to this area for good seafood and was recommended to this place. Great selection of all varieties of fresh seafood. Everything was absolutely what I expected and cooking it on a charcoal grill was even better yet. Make this your first choice to buy seafood you will not be disappointed!!

They were extremely rude! We are in from out of town and just went on a fishing charter. Our captain told us to bring our fish here to have them filleted. We came to the counter and were greeted with a “yeah?”. Apparently they were too busy to fillet them and we were told that if we were going to go fishing, we needed to be able to fillet our own fish. We called Crab Catchers, which is a restaurant where they will cook your fish for you, and they said they would be happy to fillet all of our fish for us. I’d recommend going there instead.

Ate at Berry’s for the first time but it will definitely not be our last. Our food was delicious and we really enjoyed looking at all the fresh fish, shrimp, etc while we waited for our food to be prepared. If you want to buy fresh fish or any kind of seasonings, sauces etc, then this is the place to go. We will most definitely be return customers!!!!!

In all honesty if I could give zero stars I would. My family and I come to Myrtle Beach every year for about 20 years. My boyfriend has never been down here before and has been excited to do some seafood cooking for us. We asked a few locals where we should go. Two places come up. Eugene’s and Berry’s which happens to be right beside each other. We saw previous reviews on berry’s but thought it would be okay. We went on a Sunday and realized they closed early. Okay no big deal that’s our bad. We went to Eugene’s and the employees were really nice. We got a few items but they were out of oysters. They told us to check with berry’s when they were open. And the gentleman informed us that there would be more oysters coming in later this week hopefully (for Eugene’s). Today is Tuesday and my boyfriend calls Berry’s to check to see if they had any oysters. Nothing wrong with that right? A woman answered and told him they didn’t have any. Okay that’s fine. So he asked her a simple question… when do you think you might get in another shipment of oysters? (No harm in asking. Wrong) she becomes very rude and tells him “do you think we are going to get any with this weather”. Umm I don’t know that’s why he was asking. We aren’t from here. I don’t know if she doesn’t like vacationers or hates her job but there is no need to have an attitude. I work in customer service how about having some respect and being polite. We understand there is a hurricane going on in the gulf coast but we didn’t know how it was going to effect the shipment. It was a simple question. I’m sure their food is great but we are not spending our money there unless the employees learn to remove the stick up their asses. Sorry but I prefer to spend my money at places where I’ll be treated right and not insulted. Maybe take a few classes on customer services.
