Just had oysters and a michelada, service was great and so was the drink and oysters! This place has been around forever so it definitely gives off old school vibes and it feels like you are stepping back into the 80s/90s! Loved it!

It’s overpriced, so I couldn’t enjoy the meal! Broiled shrimp is not supposed to be breaded! There were pieces of bread crumbs. I did not expect this, at this price. They make the best Margaritas , however; now that I think about it, not sure if there was any alcohol in the Margarita at all! The only good thing were the fries. The fries were great . The booths’ seats clearly need padding!

Had fish and shrimp plates. Both were okay. The fries were not salted. The side salad was iceberg lettuce with two slices of tomato. They added a red onion ring on top. Overall the meal was average.

I recently dined at the Oyster Bar restaurant in Harlingen and unfortunately, I had a bad experience. The food quality vs what I was charged, made no sense. The dishes had good sizes, but lack flavor, on the customer service side: there was a woman that seemed to be the manager, she made me want to leave immediately, very harsh person, but just because I was dining with some close friends I didn’t do so. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant due to the combination of lack of good flavor and low level of customer service by this woman. I am not coming back to this restaurant anymore.

The restaurant was not too busy. Laura was our server. She was nice-just had too many tables to keep up with. Food was nothing special. Expected more for the money. Hard rolls, had to get up and track down tea refills, ketchup, etc. wanted a great seafood place but this didn’t do it for me!
