I thought I had already reviewed Oscar’s. But to the point of being redundant; Oscar’s is a small and intimate restaurant where you can get first class foods for middle class prices. There is often live music and the wait staff is friendly and do their job well, there is often a wait for your food because it is cooked fresh and presented elegantly. It is a dining experience so if you want to get in and out quickly call in your order and take delicious food home with you.

A little expensive, but the food is consistently great, and the staff are just so awesome and friendly. I order takeout at least once a month. The French dip sandwich is awesome. I’ve had a few salads where the lettuce wasn’t washed properly, but I’ve never been disappointed with any of their pasta dishes, specials, or sandwiches. The wings are good too!

I was driving up from Stamford, CT to NW CT and saw the good reviews, so I decided to stop for dinner. Lovely and friendly owners and wait staff. Hearty portions. A good value. The town of Wingdale is fortunate to have this as their local eatery.

The committee of “That ‘70s Reunion” would like to send out a big THANK YOU to the owners of “Oscar’s Restaurant and Bar”, Jessica Chutka-Pelletier and Jeffrey Pelletier, for staying open late on Friday, October 7th, so that we could get together after the football game. It was the perfect way to start off a fabulous reunion weekend. The food and drinks and service were all excellent.
