Ok so when friends told us about this place we didn’t want to come because it looks old and small, DON’T let that fool you, if you want to taste real Mexican food and flavors, you need to give this place a visit and try their dishes, from the service to the food everything really good. 5 stars from me. Try the enchiladas rojas

My wife is currently pregnant and was craving gorditas and we gave it a try. Really good sazón and I got some carne asada fries and those were a disappointment… fries were all hard like they were sitting for a while in oil and I couldn’t finish them.

Had an amazing breakfast with my wife and dad! He had the red chilaquiles, and my wife had the carnita gorditas. I had the green chilaquiles. Everything was super delicious and amazing! Service was great, and they are very attentive and super friendly. Also, to add the pineapple, juice was made fresh and super refreshing!! 10/10 will definitely be back!!

As far as I am concerned, they have the BEST delicious soup in town! I had a taco on Taco Tuesday, and it was great

We were lookin for a cozy family Mexican restaurant and found this amazing restaurant. Super adorable ambience and decor. Excellent service, food is homemade and delicious. I’d put this in my top 5 all Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in my life (I am 52 :)) Highly recommended, five stars!

I got to give them credit here. They personally won over my business a few times now. Would venture to say they actually care what you think about thier food and they will do just about anything to see that you’re satisfied with your meal. As others have stated, it’s a simple and homey place with varying family involved in the front and back of house. They cater to your likes and dislikes, which is great, since I’m a bit picky ….but they don’t mind one bit. What I also love about this place, finally, someone who doesn’t add any bits and pieces of veggies into their rice!! I love that, just the way you find in Northern. CA and AZ. I’m a fan of this place and will frequent it when I can to show support.

First time here and I’ll be going back. The young girl who waited on us was so sweet and efficient. I had the Margarita (wine) Monday special, which is 2 fish tacos and a margarita. My husband and I shared the tacos. They were really good and a good size taco! The price was good and these were not your small street tacos! The restaurant was clean and colorful.

My 1st time here. Service was amazing and attentive. Atmosphere was chill, and we watched a world cup game here. I had the chilaquiles rojos and they were the best ive had in Escondido. Ive eaten chilaquiles in 7 different states in and i have to say, these are really good compared to those in Mexico.
