What a nice surprise near the lake. This hometown cafe is an excellent dining experience. Our meal came out promptly. Our waitress was quick with taking our orders and hit them precisely! The catfish was cooked perfectly in my opinion. The fries were pretty tasty along with some honey garlic wings that had GREAT flavor! As we were leaving the tempting dessert selection had a good looking piece of what looked like fudge pie. WOW! Thank you for a great experience!! Truly top notch!

Burger was Excellent!! Fries.. good, tasted the light seasoned salt! They were just a tiny bit burned and too soggy for my taste. Very nice young lady at the register!

This is an awesome restaurant. If you love a good home cooked meal, this is the place for you. The staff here are super friendly and always greet you when you come in. They even give a 10% discount on your ticket when you pay in cash. I highly recommend you come and try this restaurant.

This place is wonderful! If you have not been then you should definitely check it out. They offer daily specials and their food is great! My favorites are the steak fingers special, chicken tenders or a cheese burger. However their catfish is also good and one day is all you can eat I believe. They offer a variety of dessert options that you really shouldn’t skip! We ordered the Mississippi mud cake and Hummingbird cake on our last visit and they did not disappoint!!! Home cooked food that’s definitely worth the drive to Pottsboro. We are truly lucky to have them out here.

Food was pretty average and what you would expect from a little cafe. They were pretty busy but the staff kept up. The 4 dishes out table had all appeared to be “from the box” type meals. It was good, but nothing had that home made look or taste. Portions were big.

My father and I ordered the “All you can eat catfish” the fish was amazing and soon as we received food I ordered more fillets. After 30 minutes of waiting we never received our refill on fish. So needless to say it’s not all you can eat. But on flip side the fish was delicious!

This was our second visit. We took our children and grandchildren today for mothers day because we wanted them to try it. Everyone loved the food. Our waitress is a big reason we returned also. I definitely recommend it.
