Got Root beer as a drink. They serve coke products. The ruben sandwich as the main meal which consisted of corned beef, thousand island dressing, and sauerkraut on rye bread. The corned beef was less processed than I’m used to as I could actually tell it was beef which was a nice change. It came with two dill pickles on the side and sweet potato fries accompanied by a cinnamon shaker and marshmallow dipping sauce on the side as well which was suggested by the waitress. Speaking of which the staff here was great, personable, and friendly!

Been here twice for breakfast and cannot stress this enough…..they have the best breakfast in a 90 minute radius. Bring an appetite because they don’t skimp on their portions. And they actually have good chocolate milk, and not just a drop or two of Hershey chocolate syrup in a 16oz glass.

Ordered burger and fries, burger was bland (tasted like water) with a soggy bun and the fries were both limp but rock hard in the center. place was great a year ago, it’s a shame the restuarant fell off this hard. The table shared a sentiment that the cook and/or management is afraid of seasoning.

Honestly I used to love this place. I went in for a late breakfast. Poor menu selection and honestly kinda expensive. It may be the new economy where less costs more but it seems to have hitches place worse than other places.

So after staying away from this place for 7 months on purpose for poor service and bad food I decided to try them out again on Monday April 24th 2023. Food was good, waitress good. The owner “Todd”, however was a whole different story. After learning that the food was served cold and unacceptable at another table he screams across the whole dining room to the kitchen where a dishwasher is loudly dropping the F-bomb and a bunch of other choice words about the situation that was created. Everyone there heard this back and forth between them. Instead of calmly walking back to a private area, he continues to scream at him in front of all the staff now located in the kitchen making them all very uncomfortable and are now complaining amongst themselves in front of the remaining customers of which 6 walked out because of it. The most unpleasant and uncomfortable experience I’ve had in a long time. Will not ever return to this place again! This man should not ever be in charge of anyone period let alone a whole restaurant. Very sad Goodwil’s Bakery in Montandon has never been the same since he took over….
