Had a very good meal at the Restaurant at the Granville Inn. The atmosphere and service were fantastic. What an amazing atmosphere and facility. Hannah our server was so sweet and accommodating. She was fantastic. The menu is varied and well thought out. Our meals the walleye dinner and the lamb chops were very good. Each however had a couple of technical issues. They were not big enough to complain about at all. You have to give this place a try and enjoy a drink at the bar and enjoy a meal!

Beautiful restaurant with an amazing outdoor patio. The food and service were really amazing. We loved the blackened steak with Chimichurri sauce and the walleye with the horseradish potatoes. The apps were great too.

Great place to dine in a historic hotel. The service is great. We arrived early for lunch because I finished with an appointment early but were seated in advance of our reservations. I ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich, and my wife ordered the California chicken salad. Both were very good, but the Philly cheese steak bread needed to be a bit firmer and not fall apart from the juices of the steak. It is a new item, and I was the first customer to try it.

So over 30 years ago when I got married I wanted to have my rehearsal dinner at Granville Inn. I couldn’t afford it so we had it at a restaurant up the road. I had never eaten there and went for the first time this week while visiting Newark. I must say that the inside and decor is very cool. It reminds me of a restaurant I went to in Ireland last year. Nice big fireplaces and beautiful ornate woodwork. It was a very fancy restaurant. The service there was great. Our waitress took great care of us. I would say the food was very good, I wouldn’t say that it was great. The appetizers were the best part. Their rock shrimp was the highlight. But I also liked the Korean cauliflower. They do have a great selection of bread they bring to your table with salted butter. I would go there and get the bread and a bowl of soup and be satisfied. My entrée was a truffled ravioli. It was over salted and did not have anything or any flavor let’s set it apart. Most of our party had the scallops and I would say that they were huge portion size and they all said that they were very tasty. It is a very expensive place to eat and would prohibit me from going back on a regular basis. But I would go back for a special occasion.

Went here for brunch for my grandmother’s birthday. All 3 of us were very disappointed with our meals. Food was very low quality and over priced. Overall, I would say this is one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. Maybe it’s better for dinner, but for our experience with brunch it was terrible. My grandmother said she had better food during WWII when she was in a displaced persons camp.

We went there for the Mothers Day Brunch and our reservation was towards the end of the time (it was the only time available)

Loved this place! Such a beautiful , grand setting! We had lunch there before going to the Daffodil Show at the Bryn Du Mansion. While we had a little wait even with reservations, our server Hannah more than made up for that with her speedy service and upbeat, cheerful demeanor. I would go back again most definately!

Each visit to the Inn is wonderful. The salmon is perfect cooked, slightly crisp on the outside and flakey on the inside. My wife had the Granville Burger and she loved it too. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere is delightful. We’re blessed to have the Granville Inn so close to our home.

Ham and cheese omelet used black forest ham and not true ham. They were out of eggs Benedict. The replacement for the oders bacon was ordered not crispy, it came chrispy.
