I absolutely love this place. I’m Nicaraguan, and since we don’t have Nicaraguan restaurants in Reno I gravitate towards Salvadoran food since it’s pretty similar. This place has the best pupusas, their service is great, the restaurant is always clean, this is my go to hangover spot. Every time I’ve gotten the plátanos they’ve been perfect. Truly a gem of Reno

Called in a order for pickup that was ready when I arrived. Staff was kind and helpful, but it is very loud with the music they have over the speaker. I had pupusas de queso, and chicharron con queso. They were delicious, and the salsa had a lot of flavor and was pretty spicy—be aware If you can’t handle spice.

Very genuin and authentic hand made flower tortillas. Deliciously seasoned meats, beans and rice burritos. But I definitely would not say that it would be worth $10.00 per person for a dang burrito…

I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl. Recently, their pupusas are delicious ! Whoever’s back there, bless your hands because pupusas are not easy to make. The staff is super nice and attentive. My mom always gets the quesadilla (baked good, not the tortilla with cheese quesadilla) to eat with her coffee in the mornings.

I am sorry that we don’t speak spanish/mexican and we put you out to come to your restaurant. The food was good which is why we came but the service and atmosphere sucked.

The employees are extremely down to earth and welcoming. I was very impressed and glad that the pupusas here were on point. And don’t let me forget about how delicious the Salvadorian Horchata!! The atmosphere definitely reminded me of a Hispanic party with the music, karaoke, dancing, and pool table.

There aren’t many places to get pupusas in Reno. For that reason it is worth knowing about this spot in midtown. However, I’m not used to spending so much on them, and they were kind of small. I’d rather go to El Paisano.
