My husband and I shared the 12” Big Apple Steak, Onions, and Cheese sandwich. It was absolutely delicious! Very filling. Our children shared a cheeseburger and fries. Their food was not on the menu. Chef Seymour went out of his way to make food that the children would enjoy. The service was exceptional and we were very satisfied with our visit. We will return…!!

Absolutely loved the food and service. The restaurant shares the building with a pharmacy and the space really doesn’t blow your mind but it still feels welcoming, maybe because it’s my kind of place. The folks there are incredible; personable, friendly, welcoming. The food tasted incredible; been twice and both sandwiches were so flavorful and delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

Was a bit dubious about the 4.9 rating, but after eating here, the deli here is very very good. The bread is light and fluffy, and the meat is plentiful. I suggest you try their homemade mushroom soup, corned beef and swiss, and their Brooklyn pastrami sandwich.

Great food, great chef. Little hidden gem we make sure to stop in every time we pass by on I-75. Chef is great and makes you feel like family. Highly recommend over the countless chains that pump out the same old same old. You will not be disappointed.

Just spent several days in Northern Michigan, hitting up all of our favorite foodie spots and enjoying some R&R. Then on the ride home, we stop at Birch Run Deli….WOW, that means AMAZING! Ordered a triple reuben and vegetable soup, it was so good, packed with veggies! Husband had a pastrami and gumbo soup, that had shrimp and a crab leg! We had to tell the chef that was the best meal we had on our entire vacation! I almost forgot to mention the service, like talking to a friend! Wish we had a friend with a deli like that where we live….we’ll definitely be back every chance we get!

After seeing all of the great reviews I finally had a chance to try it for myself yesterday. My husband and I ordered the Frankies roast beef sandwiches and soup. The sandwiches were hands down the best I’ve ever had. The soup was just as delicious. The owner Seymour was very nice. An overall great experience. Will definitely be dining there again.
