Absolutely excellent! Glad we stopped by. Everything was super flavorerful and perfectly prepared. The portions are large and we had leftovers. The salsa is slightly different from typical places, it has a very refreshing flavor to it. It’s definitely fresh and made in house like everything seemed to be.

El k’iche’ offers hand made made to order tortillas. I’ve ordered mostly everything from the menu and it’s been spectacular. Every time I order I expect the best from the kitchen and man do they deliver. This hidden gem needs more locations so more people can taste what really great food taste like. Keep up the great work the passion really show in each plate served.

I am updating my review after eating there two more times. We ordered to-go for my daughter’s birthday because we didn’t have enough time to dine in. We were shocked when food was brought home. The enchiladas and chimichanga were covered in bean soup. My daughter’s enchilada only came with one tortilla, also, no chips at all. My husband told me that the bag were coated with soup before heading home, so we knew the food was messed up before leaving the restaurant. I told him to go back, so they could make it right. When my husband went back, he was given 2 choices: refund the money or remake the food. When they remade the food, the enchiladas surprisingly came in two tortillas instead of one. They also added the chips after my husband questioned about the chips. We paid for dinner portions as we were told lunch was only for m-f even though we had only ever ate lunch before on the weekends and even then was only given lunch portions sizes. We were disappointed for sure, but we will give it maybe another try because my kids love its food. I would like to suggest the owner to be consistent with their food service and portions. If you are ordering to-go from this restaurant, please check your food before leaving the door.
