Grabbed a take out order of the House Calzone with Pepperoni and the Cheesy Garlic Bread! Definitely enough for two people to split, and the calzone is loaded with meat, ricotta, cheese, and onions oozing out! The garlic bread is best fresh and crispy. For the price, you get plenty of food. Thanks!

Tried this place for the first today and the pizza was really good! I love that it’s seasoned, unlike other pizza places. The pizza had a tiny kick to it. Also, they have incredible onion rings. I’m excited to try their other items.

I want to say this while it’s fresh, my food was awesome but pepperoni was forgotten to be put on my pizza, I brought it home, called in, and I was told I needed to bring my food into the store in order to be compensated, not very classy in my opinion, I wonder if everybody is treated this way at this establishment? Obviously I must be lying over the two to four dollars. Let me take a picture so it is clear what’s going on here. I don’t think this is extra cheese to be honest I paid for that as well

We placed an order for a large pizza two subs and three cannolis. The total was $79.00 which was fine but the cannoli’s did not arrive with the food. When l called the restaurant to report l did not receive my three cannolis which were $14 of the order and they told me that was too bad and argued with me saying the girl they sent to deliver it had a kid in her car and they probably ate them. They argued with me for 20 minutes and agree to refund me the $14 and they never did. They were rude and disrespectful and said that their manager “Tony” said it was too bad. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Carmella’s has very good NY style pizza and they even sell it by the slice! They also have many salad and pasta options! I have eaten here and gotten takeout/delivery many times. The food is always spot on! The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is that it more of a bar environment and there are actually places in Charlotte that do NY pizza better. That being said, it’s quite the popular bar scene too. They pour strong drinks and have drink specials often such as $1 Bud, PBR etc.

Let me walk you through this with me. I placed my order ahead of time. Entering the store there were customers ahead of me. All of whom were take care of promptly and respectfully. When I arrived at the counter I had to wait. They were engaged in conversation that truly could’ve waited. I waited several minutes, when I was about to leave the female employee finally decided to acknowledge me. I picked up my food and went to the bar for a beer. This bartender was completely RUDE and distasteful. I advise against going to this place HEAVILY. It’s just not worth it. The food was good but compare to the service, TOTALLY NOT WORRH IT.

We ordered the Hawaiian pizza and added red onion and jalapeños…tried the Thai chilli and Barbalo wings…everything was delicious! Great service and will definitely be in our dining rotation.
