Do not let the three stars deter you from stopping by and enjoying some nostalgic, straightforward food. It was good. Simple, but good. Nothing was overly seasoned or had too much spice. In fact, I wish the chili itself had a bit more kick and or flavor, but otherwise the hot dogs had that snap, the fries were fresh.

Arrived at the restaurant, which was not so busy. Only 3 people inside dining in. The cashier was an older guy who carried himself like he did not want to be at work and was somewhat rude. The hot dogs were delicious but very thin. The fries however was really nice hot and very delicious. Would recommend for taste and would go back again.

If I could give them a 0 I would. If you do not want to serve customers at 6:45 pm when you close at 7 pm, change your hours so that you close at 6:45 pm. The 2 men behind the counter were very rude, really put a damper on our night. Complete unprofessionalism, food was fine but not worth the treatment. We will not be back.

Horrible! I should have read the reviews before coming here. Nothing has changed. The guy at the counter was rude to me and other customers I watched after me. He seemed upset that we were there. I ordered a coney dog figuring this must be good. Worst I have ever had. The hotdog was the size of a child’s magic marker. It had maybe 2 small spoonfuls of chili on it. Covered in cold shredded cheese. It should be hot melted cheese. You think they would know that. They forgot the mustard on the side. Tables and floor were dirty as well. Just gross all the way around.

Have always loved Coney Island, went to the one in Shopko Bridgeview plaza when I was younger all the time then went to the one in Valley View Mall until they closed. Made the mistake of going to the one in Holmen tonight!!! The restaurant is disgusting, the fountain soda had mold growing on the ice chute and the 2 male owners were very very rude. We ordered our food and they put it in to go boxes and rudely said you have 5 minutes to eat it here. We were not told by just one of the owners but both had to let us know they were closing in 5 minutes. I suggest that you don’t waste your time or money by going there, customers are an inconvenience to them.

Not clean, boxes and chairs stacked in corners and a point of sales system that is so old that the might as well use dial up internet as it to several minutes to process a credit card only to get an error, I ended up paying by cash since my food was ready before the credit card machine. Disappointing.

They are about as rude for customer service that I have ever come across. Just mean and ornery when taking your order. Then in a hurry to get you out. Returning back is a big no.

Terrible terrible experience. Do not give this restaurant your business. The owner was beyond rude. Our order was made wrong and when asked to correct it (adding chili to two hotdogs, same price not a big deal) he started making rude comments and was a total jerk. Then when we were leaving he started making more comments and two other employees cornered my dad in the back and started harassing him. One employee then told me that “if you would listen it wouldn’t have happened” meaning it was my fault the order was made wrong- when we very clearly ordered with chili. The owner then continued to make rude comments from behind the counter. I have never had an experience like this before. Just unreal and totally uncalled for over two spoons of chili.
