Got our food and the waitress never came back. We chewed all the ice in our glasses because it is hot and we are eating a meal. We had to go to the front to pay our bill as we knew it would take all day for the waitress to come back . Food is decent but will not go back and having something to drink is important when I eat. Also recommend a lunch menu. Very over priced compared to other Mexican restaurants.

They offer Great tasting and authentic hispanic food. They also serve it quite faster compared to similar places. Since the servings are huge we often have takeout boxes. As far as the food to recommend, Id pick carne asada, carnitas and burrito. They also have a bar and has decent selection of beer and wide variety of cocktails. It is also very affordable. The places would make you fell that you are in Mexico. Staff and friendly and nice. Id recommend to go during lunchtime or dinner time.

One of the best Mexican food restaurants around in our area. We’ve tried a lot. I personally love more spice, more flavor, LESS American / cheddar cheese more queso fresco, cotija for Mexican food and they have a lot more of that goin on here. I think they always have fajitas, carne asada that’s not over cooked like a lot of other places .Flavors are great. Even up to the chips and salsa has so much more flavor than most, chips come to table warm most of the time. We love it!

Good place for lunch/dinner. A little high on the prices but what you get (quality vs quantity) is worth a try. Food was on par today! I had Carne Azada for $20 – only suggestion was to check the presentation of the meat/rice/beans ratio. Mine came with 3/4 plate beans 1/4 rice and 2 small portion of meat. But overall – not bad – I will definitely try the place out again.

Food was excellent but was worst service I’ve had in long time.. never asked if I want another drink with my food till time to get check I was gonna order a extra taco with my burrito but never had opportunity literally came to tabe to take order and bring check.. never be back..and they was not busey at all so that’s not a excuse I’d understand if they was slammed busey..

Not sure why it took us so long to try don zapatas but I’m hear to say it’s one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in town. Lots of different options than your standard Mexican restaurants. Highly recommend giving this place a try….you’ll thank me for it.
