I stopped by here on a whim after getting a massage down the street. The food was absolutely delicious! The staff & what I assume was the owner were fantastic. It’s in an old house, so I thought it was kind of weird at first sitting in a former bedroom with other people, but it was great. Those folks were hysterical & kind. The next people were the same. These were all frequent customers as everyone knew them by name. It is rare to find a place where everyone is so kind & friendly, regardless of skin color. It was an absolute pleasure to eat here.

The Chef house in Augusta, Ga is a 10/10. It’s a spot in Augusta where the older well off prestige people attend to have lunch at. Great place to have business meeting & to build relationships in networking with the community. & Thursdays they have salmon.

The food was delicious, the service provided was friendly, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the owners were very friendly. I was told that there is a different menu for each day of the week! There was a salad bar as well and sweet tea or lemonade. Thank you Chef George and Tammy Darko for a great first tike experience!

this restaurant is the best Augusta kept secret that needs to be shared. the food is such quality and so incredibly well prepared. the owners and beautiful people that make you feel like family when you go in and the atmosphere is so pleasant. you will NOT be disappointed, it’s truly my favorite, good home cooking restaurant in the CSRA. The food definitely was not good at all !! Green beans and corn not done!! Baked chicken was just OK, no fried chicken . Rice could have cooked longer and roast beef no seasonings.20 dollars a person for that !! My 9 year old had a couple things on plate did not like it and hers was 20 dollars also. I’m not mad at all but definitely will NEVER GO BACK !!!

I live in Atlanta now but Chef’s House is still one of my favorite restaurants EVER! Nothing else compares to it. When you eat here, it’s exactly like the name. You feel as if you are sitting at the kitchen table of your friends home. When you come in, Tammy greets and seats you and from the beginning you feel welcomed. Then, you go to eat some of the most amazing food prepared by George and it is always delicious no matter what day of the week it is. I first met Tammy as she was shopping at the Gap and she told me about her restaurant. I came to eat and that was many years ago. Now, when I get back to Augusta I try to eat here. It’s not often but everytime I do go I am never disappointed!!
