This location has food not belonging to Popeyes. The gravy is horrible. The chicken is disgusting. Compared to other popeyes. I’m 100% sure the management is substituting food not associated with Popeyes food. Please dont go. Real waste of many. One of the workers was in shorts and flip flops.

My experience was horrible. The food is terrible there. Please by pass this Popeyes. I think when you are franchise they follow their own rules. No seasoning, gravy plain, no honey, apple Pies burnt. I went here 15 minutes before closing time. And no joke, had the best service I have ever had anywhere. I live down south, and from everything I have heard from Chicago, I was shocked to see how amazing the man at the drive-thru was. Definitely recommend, and of course, how could I forget how good their food is.

Sucks this is the closest Popeyes, otherwise I’d go somewhere else. I always order online so that the food is ready by the time I get here and it’s NEVER ready. They don’t fix it until I arrive which is a huge inconvenience for me, especially when o have somewhere to go.

My food was old and dry, I ordered tenders and a 3piece white. I also ordered an apple pie I can’t even begin to describe it looked different but I tried it, the taste I still can’t get it out my mouth. I spent 40 only to have to throw it away.

I had a taste for that Popeyes Famous Fried Chicken Sandwich today so my husband and I visited Blue Island Popeyes. This sandwich was horrible…the sandwich was very dry, the chicken was thinner than the bread and it was not crispy at all it definitely didn’t taste like any popeye chicken sandwich I had from other locations. I will not be visiting Blue Island Popeyes again.
