We stopped by as the restaurant was opening on a Sunday. The restaurant was cold but the service was good. We thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and cheese soup! The bread was delicious too! Our only complaint was the fried green tomatoes. The breading was falling off and flavorless. The waitress had it taken off the bill, so no worries. All in all a great small meal!

Really nice place. Excellent service. My wife was absolutely happy with her food. I ordered a med rare steak it came out well done. I didn’t complain and our server got a good tip. The only slight is with the steak. For the money you pay I expect to get what I order.

Nice service and my husband enjoyed his burger. I had the boom boom shrimp it was okay. Very saucy! Overall we had a good experience and will probably eat here again. We did a takeout since we were passing through the town and we called in the wait time was reasonable.

This place was a bit of a conundrum. The online website made it look fancy, and the food and pricing certainly fit the bill, and even the tables with candlelight and servers dressed in black and white, but the feeling/atmosphere of the place was almost like a hometown diner. It was strange. We were dressed to the nines, but everyone else was in shorts and flip flops and t-shirts. So weird. Also, our server was great, but soooooo casual. Like, leaning on our table, chatting to us when she was bored. It was weird.

J. Henry’s is a good restaurant, though it can be hit or miss. The service is typically good & the food is yummy. They have a variety of options to choose from. My favorite appetizer is the spinach artichoke dip (it is different as it’s more like queso dip with spinach). The Top sirloin is good and so is their Reuben. The chocolate cake is the best thing I’ve had here . They do have a full bar and a nice wine list. Plenty of seating. The parking lot is small and it’s shared with several other businesses.

We had a great Fathers Day lunch today. We had a party of five, less than a five minute wait for a table. Mindy did a great job on service; she was hustling and kept us up to speed on drink refills. The entrees were very fresh and were served at a good speed. My chopped steak was better than what I’ve had at well known steak houses.

This is a nice hidden gem in Griffin. I was told about this place by a friend and when I tried it out my expectations were exceeded. Their steak is some of the freshest that I’ve ever had and cooked perfectly. I’ve tried the Filet Mignon, the Bruschetta Chicken, and the Artichoke Spinach Dip. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The staff is always great and we haven’t had a bad experience yet. It has easily become one of our favorite spots, especially for date night. They have kid friendly options as well and even my picky eater enjoyed it.

This place is amazing. We are from Arkansas. The squash casserole tastes just like my nans and the pot roast… OH WOW You can’t go wrong with stopping here.
