This place is amazing! Loved the colors and decorations inside. Very relaxing atmosphere with great music. El Dorado burrito with steak is probably the best burrito I’ve ever had or at least rivals the greats. The staff was very friendly, If you haven’t been here then I highly recommend going right now! Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! We met up with family after a long drive. There had been a bad thunderstorm so we got in pretty late. Thankfully, this restaurant was open until midnight. The staff were so friendly and exuberant. It was my young son’s birthday and they sang to him and comped a really delicious churro dessert. They seemed to truly enjoy singing to him and it wasn’t just going through the motions like some other places!

The service was attentive, and the el dorado fajitas were so good. Bacon, pineapple, steak, chicken, and shrimp. It all kind of crisped in the pan together and I’m happy to say the bacon retained it’s strong flavor instead of getting drowned out by the other ingredients. So happy I tried this place out.

The service was great. The food was good and I would go back again. The atmosphere is ok. It is an old bar turned restaurant and they have done a good job of making it as comfortable and updated as you can without gutting the entire business. Everyone enjoyed their food and the drinks were exactly what you would hope for them to be. I would recommend lunch here, probably not dinner.

Dined here last night and was blown away by the service! They went above and beyond to make sure we had fun and enjoyed our time there. They gave us suggestions on what to get and they didn’t miss. I had the fajitas with pineapple and it was incredibly flavorful. Pineapple margarita was fresh and the perfect amount of sweetness. Definitely will come back!

The tacos El dorado were incredible. The rice and beans had the best flavor of rice and beans I’ve ever had. Service was incredible the bar tender was fun and light hearted. My wife got a margarita and when she was halfway done they asked if she want more tequila free of charge. As we were about to leave they gave us free tequila shots for my wife’s birthday. Will be returning on a regular basis.

We loved this place in Cedar Rapids! Great refried beans that are actually vegetarian for our vegetarian party members! The salsa is perfect with warm chips. The enchiladas were perfectly sauced and queso-ed! Excellent and quick service with drink and salsa refills!

Very nice atmosphere lots of staff on hand so we were served right away. They added more tequila to the margaritas free of charge as we drank them. Ordered quick. Lots of free chips and salsa. The guacamole has a little bite to it and is very delicious as well as the queso chorizo. Great portions great prices food was ready in 15 minutes. Definitely going back would recommend to anyone!
