We originally went on a Tuesday, we didn’t realize that the players platter and turkey legs are Thursday & Friday only. So we went back Thursday,, FYI, get there early!! They were sold out by 1pm. We ended up getting a burger and catfish. 10/10 on both of these. The fries had great seasonings just over cooked. We paid for the Nana pudding, but they were sold out and they gave us the option to get one the next day. So glad we did, I’m not much on banana puddings but OMG 20/10 best ever!! So don’t leave without trying it!! We will definitely be back to try the other stuff!! Wait is definitely worth it!!

I’ve been here more than once but this was my first time going on a weekend. Food is always hot and order correct. Each time it takes close to an hour to order and get my food. Prices are reasonable for serving sizes.

This food is so delicious! I live in Dallas TX and after visiting Houston I have been trying to find a local place that can replicate The Turkey Leg Hut and let me just say… The Passion Cafe has far exceeded my expectations and now dream about this food.

Overall, the wait time was extremely long! The workers took their good- sweet time making the food that was average tasting. No sense of urgency and concern for customer’s time. I didn’t care for my food at all because they put BBQ sauce and ranch on my Chicken Philly, which was disgusting to me. They said it was special sauce, but it was BBQ and Ranch. Maybe I should try something else, but I’m not even slightly interested in driving back over there to try it again!

⚠️EVERYTHING IS COOKED WHEN ORDERED. If you do not have the time or the want to wait then this is not the place for you. The food is worth the wait.⚠️

1 &1/2 hr wait…was told an hour…taste good but not worth the wait…very nice people working there..they tell you upfront we’re not fast food..but they work with any urgency…I’ll give them another shot and then I’ll decide if I go back..

DO NOT EAT HERE. The cashier was extremely lazy sitting in a chair ,no one in the back cooking had on gloves or hair nets, my Philly was mostly bread and my wings were extremely salty. The cashier also refused to have them put my sauce on the side. It was a disaster. I wasnt The only upset customer several people who came in after me were upset because this location runs out of food so fast. They don’t take call in orders so you’re driving all the way to the location just to see if they have what you want. Not worth it.

I am visiting from Louisiana and decided to try Passion Cafe. I ordered the seafood Turkey leg and it was not good. The turkey leg was under seasoned and it lacked flavor. The cream sauce that came on top was sweet which was strange. Lastly, it was $25. I’m from Louisiana so I know a good Turkey leg and this wasn’t it. The service was good and the atmosphere was cool. Although I didn’t particularly enjoy the food, I still encourage others to check this black owned business out.

The phillysteak wasn’t really that good. It was a lot of bread with no filling. The chicken was just sitting on top of the bread covered in sauce. The chicken wings (wangs) were extra crispy almost burnt. I specifically asked did the banana pudding have bananas in it and I was told it did but there was not 1 piece of banana in my pudding. The fish and hamburger was really good. My friend loved the seafood dressing. I would definitely go back just won’t be trying the Philly or the wangs. My only complaint is that the people preparing the food did not wear a hair net and the one guy had his dreads all in his eyes and I just kept thinking I hope nothing fall out in my food. I did appreciate that they wore gloves.

Drove 45 mns away with my island sisters. I wanted to visit this fabulous food we’ve seen on tik tok. Waited 45mns to get our food the fries and chicken wings were cold. I ordered the burger, wings and fries my sis ordered the Philly steak w/wings and fries, and my other sis ordered catfish and fries. On a flavorful note it was bomb.com. One thing I noticed that was they had one guy working until the chef came thru besides the cashier that stays near the register. We also ordered the banana pudding let me just say it wasn’t watery or super sweet it was delicious We all gave eachother that look when we had our bite of it!!!! I really wanted to try that strawberry cake they sell out fast real fast lol!
