When driving back to town from Darrington, I decided to stop into the Fountain for lunch and glad I did. It was a very nice treat and one that I had totally forgot about since my youth. The Fountain’s staff was friendly and pleasant while the restaurant was clean and had all the hallmarks of a great, local burger joint.

Did drive through and they were busy so I’m sure service would have been better had I came at a different time. Shakes weren’t bad but nothing to write home about. Food was basic and generic. Confused why I had heard that this was a good place to eat.

Strange place. No menu descriptions, no prices, no receipts. How is anyone supposed to know what the difference between a jumbo, deluxe or regular burger is? The fries were truly awful, not sure how you can mess up fries. I see no reason to come back.

Very common destination for my bike rides! Great milkshakes. The atmosphere would be better if it weren’t constantly nearly empty. The service is great most of the time.

My local town burger drive through, our favorite to get milk shakes from. The food is good and not too exspensive but the wait time can be up to 20 minutes. Overall a great place to grab a bite once in a while.

The restaurant’s menu is simple and straightforward, featuring classic American fare like burgers, fries, and milkshakes. The prices are very reasonable, making it a great option for a quick and affordable meal. The burgers at the Fountain Drive-In are a standout. They are cooked to order and come with all the classic toppings, like lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese. The fries are also crispy and delicious, and the milkshakes are thick and creamy. The downside of the Fountain Drive-In is that the restaurant can get quite busy, especially during peak mealtimes. The wait times can be long, and the service can be a bit slow. However, the food and the experience are worth the wait for those who don’t mind a bit of a wait.

What a hidden gem! So happy we found this spot on our way home from North Cascades. This will be a normal stop when we travel this way again. Great, old fashioned burgers and shakes with very friendly staff. The whole family was happy!

The burgers were great even though the hamburger patty was a bit small, the French fries were very yummy, the perfect crispy outside and soft potato flavored insides! Chocolate shake was excellent, extra bonus that the interior dining area was very clean! Honestly a gem of a burger spot!

We waited a long time for our food. The drive thru menu doesn’t have prices. The food is extremely overpriced. The chicken burgers were $8 by themselves and super greasy. The fries were tasteless and soggy. So disappointed. I heard great things about this place but was not impressed. I’d rather eat jack in the box.

If you like a small town drive through experience, this is a great place to eat. It has been around since 1962, and it has what every small town drive through should have for food and fare. I like their burgers and peanutbutter shakes. I like the place more every time I go there.
