I can’t in my right mind give this place above a 3 star rating. Their quality varies semester by semester and then varies a little bit less day by day. If you catch them on a good semester on a good day, it’s actually pretty good and I can 100% say that without attempting to fool myself.

I’ve eaten here a ton and it’s usually okay, nothing too special, but today the food I got was completely inedible. The chicken was bitter rocks. I really hope the university does something about this place because there are very few options on campus and Chick-fil-A and Burrito Bowl have extremely limited hours.

Inedible. Food tastes awful. I would only recommend you eat this if you have a colonoscopy coming up and need a good cleaning. 50% chance you will get food poisoning and will spend a good 24 hours in the bathroom. Food probably tastes the exact same after you’ve digested it. Employees are helpful and kind but clearly overworked and underpaid by Sodexo.

I usually never give bad reviews but man this place has earned it. I’ll give a place two or three times before I’ll not go there anymore but man 3/3 times bad experience? It’s not a coincidence. After every time I eat here my stomach is upset for one reason or another. It’s not this type of cuisine either, I’ve eaten at Panda and family owned Asian restaurants and my stomach is fine after eating there, but with this place?I feel like I’m gonna have to throw it up.

Seriously horrible food. It tastes old and dirty every time I eat there. Everything is mushy and has bad flavor. The food is left out for hours and definitely used for multiple days. The staff is sometimes nice, but overall, I would not recommend eating here to literally anyone.

Their opening semester I actually thought it was a solid Chinese style place (although Panda Express was still better portion-wise and taste-wise). Since then, the quality has slowly degraded and now I’d say it’s probably the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had, albeit still being edible because it’s Chinese and it’s hard to screw it up super badly. Also, I was offered a water cup, which I accepted because it’s generally like 25 cents or free and I got charged full drink price for it, which annoyed me. Stick with Panda or a nearby buffet unless you’re desperate for Chinese food and don’t want to drive there. – An honest UAH student

I’ve been twice since the semester started and so far I’ve ordered lo mein, orange chicken, general tso’s chicken, and a veggie egg roll. The food is good. It’s about $12 which is pricy considering you can get the same thing at the mall for $6, but I need to use the balance on my meal card that UAH forces all the students to get.

It’s not anywhere near as bad as some people are saying. Decent Chinese food from such a small location, easily comparable to a mall location with limited options due to small serving space. I’ve eaten here quite a few times and have never had any problems with the food besides it being a little pricey for Chinese, but that’s how things are on college campuses from my experience. -UAH student

It is appalling that you feed this junk to our students. MEIN BOWL, you should also be ashamed. The fare in a prison cafeteria likely has more luster than your slop. Very unhappy parent
