When this location opened up, I was genuinely excited to see it opening up here in Tampa. But unfortunately, the location that it’s in has only caused it to go downhill FAST! Town n Country area in specifically, has become a dump, and unfortunately, because of all the homelessness in the area, it has impacted this location tremendously. The bathrooms are constantly filthy, and I guess the employees just can’t keep up with it. For the most part, the employees here are not bad. Everyone will say your typical “Hello and Thank you’s” as expected. The food is not terrible for gas station type food. They have a wide variety of things to choice from, from breakfast sandwiches in the morning to even pizza for dinner now…. YES PIZZA!!! I honestly have to say that the pizza really surprised me. It’s not terrible! It is a lot better than most of the little local cheap pizza places like (Little Cs or Hungry Hows) I got a pepperoni pie, and it was nice and cheesy and perfectly crisp. I would definitely stop in for just a quick pie. Coffee and handcrafted drink selection at Wawa is above your typical gas station availability. Gas prices are always great compared to most in the area. Overall, Wawa is my top pick above other gas stations. This location just needs some extra help on the exterior and bathroom cleanliness that the local homelessness is creating.

If there was a negative star or 0 star review that’s what this store would receive from me. I had an interview earlier this week. Everything was going amazing in the interview with Jessica and the GM, until the GM asked about my Sunday availability (which was already on my application). Once I told her I go to church on Sundays and have another obligation that doesn’t allow me to work just that one day, everything shifted. Her attitude became very nasty and the interview was basically over then. She tried to bully me into working Sunday’s for the job. So basically trying to make me give up my religious beliefs in order to work for this company. I haven’t ever felt so horrible in an interview. Definitely expected so much more especially out of a General Manager. It’s so unreal how people still are criticizing you for your religious beliefs. Keep in mind, my other availability for Monday – Saturday was exactly what they were hiring for but, because of my religious beliefs I was denied employment with them. SMH.

This location has progressively gotten worse and it is a shame. I remember sitting in Checkers drive thru and saying to myself I hope that will be a wawa when they were clearing land. I was excited but lately the quality of food has gone downhill but at least the people there are friendly. The last time I ordered and will be the last time for food at this location, I ordered a made to order chx biscuit with extra bacon. No extra bacon and the biscuit and chx were old and overcooked. It’s a shame

Honestly I used to come here and show this place to everyone because of their food, but now their food is the equivalent to trash. On top of treating their customers like criminals, they have lost touch with their food department. The quesadillas either are always so soggy, have no chicken, or just get my order wrong every time. The blue haired girl that works in the food department is extremely rude as well, it’s the third time she’s given me attitude when I bring her back my quesadilla. I order plain and they give me buffalo. Not the first time. I order avocados- don’t get any. One time I ordered a burrito and they gave it to me in one of those bagel bags- a chicken burrito that was soggy as well. I have pictures. They need to do something about their food because they obviously aren’t doing it the way we all know. Also- your menus are very misleading- if I see a s’mores milkshake and it shows caramel on the picture- and I ask where’s the caramel when I get it- the blue haired girl gives out the worst attitude. Change your employees. And get better chefs. Thanks.

It’s a shame that such a beautiful store isn’t being maintained and managed better. The floor is filthy, gum and dirt everywhere. Bums hanging around accosting you for money as you’re gassing up. They need to pressure wash the outside and ban bums and loitering. Very uncomfortable to go there.

Couldn’t find prices for soda. I asked one worker and she said she didn’t know. I asked another worker and he pointed out a small sign facing the ceiling above the cups. High prices for soda but they had good soda machines. One clerk asked me if I was there to pickup an order and he went back to what he was doing. Didn’t ask me if I needed any help.
