The food is just out of this world incredible. From the texture to the length it is cooked to the sauces that are used you just keep eating the food and you literally do not want to stop. Highly impressed. This is by far one of the best restaurants in the Portland Metro area. 7 stars if I could.

Exceptional menu in the modern designed restaurant at the edge of a shopping center. Nice outdoor patio to complement the tastefully decorated interior. The sautéed shrimp with capellini was a standout and the daily special of grilled Alaskan salmon was superb.

First time here and hopefully won’t be our last! We started with arancini, delicious fried risotto cakes with pork and goat cheese in them. They were wonderfully crispy on the outside and soft annd flavorful inside. The goat cheese was very mild and subtle and the marinara that came with them was top notch! We shared a house salad which was good with a balsamic vinaigrette and candied nuts. The main we shared was the smoked pork chop. So flavorful! The smokiness on the pork and then dipped in the mushroom sauce was next level! Loved it! We ended with a chocolate soufflé with ice cream and a passion fruit caramel sauce. This was the only slight miss for us we just thought the passion fruit was a little too much- a little overpowering in our opinion but we will definitely be back to try more delights!

Overall delicious! The entrées were cooked well but under seasoned. We should have asked for salt but the server was pretty busy and didn’t come back over until our meal was gone. I had the nightly special, braised Alaskan halibut. I didn’t taste the saffron and the whole tomatoe chunked into 4 was a nice compliment to the fish, flavor wise. But for a $42 meal I would have expected heirloom tomatoes or just something different. My husband had the tenderloin filet nightly special. The steak was cooked perfectly and he really enjoyed the demi. He said either the steak needed more seasoning or there needed to be more demi. The appetizer arancini, fried risotto cake filled with pork and goat cheese was perfectly seasoned. The cocktails were fantastic, big props to the bartender! I had an espresso Martini and a dirty Martini, both amazing! My husband had the pinapple mule and really enjoyed it.

Stopped by on a whim. We were super impressed with the atmosphere, service, drinks and food. We had a sidecar and a black manhattan–best ever. Had appetizers and salad. All were well prepared. The service was prompt, professional and friendly. We look forward to going back for dinner.

Date night. Paul and I, principals in Essential Confection, love dining with our restaurant partners. So it was a great opportunity to snag a couple of chairs at the bar and relax with wine and apps. A couple of glasses of Tempranillo, a stylish cheese board and luscious crab cakes. Owners Mark Carruth and Jeanne Schneider are building a devoted following – a real neighborhood gem – in West Linn.

We came to Avanti based on the Google reviews and photos and the meal was excellent. This was our second anniversary dinner. We had cocktails, ate seafood dishes paired with the recommended wines and desert/digestives and it was all top notch. The staff were all friendly, polite and helpful and it was clear that they all enjoy working at Avanti. We eat at a lot of restaurants and are usually disappointed. Avanti far exceeded our expectations and we left agreeing “It was so good, it was so good!”

My husband and I tried Avanti for the first time last night. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience to celebrate our anniversary. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic. The service was top notch and genuine. The Chef and Owner even popped over to ask how our meal was since he hadn’t seen us before. I had a specific craving that wasn’t on the online menu but there were so many other delicious options I knew I would find something I would enjoy especially with 4 different fish/seafood options. To my surprise, rack of lamb was the special for the evening. I have honestly never had a more exceptional lamb dinner in my life. The lamb was paired with goat cheese au gratin and broccolini. Every single aspect of this dish was divine!!!! My husband went for the house favorite Cider Brined Pork chop. The chop was easily an inch thick, juicy and cooked to perfection. Easily the best food we’ve eaten after living in West Linn for 9 years. Covid was brutal on the fine dining scene as we know. Excited to have this spectacular restaurant close to home and looking forward to trying everything on the menu.

Delicious! Got to try the pork chop, we’ve had it 3 times and each time it’s been wonderful! A flavor you’ll crave and want to come back to. We tried the NY strip and it was good but the chop definitely is something they are known for. Great place for a date night! Patio seating is a great atmosphere also.
