Came for dinner around 6:15 on a Wednesday, we had a reservation but you can see from the picture, we didn’t need one. They did tell us if we didn’t come for the reservation, they would charge us 45 dollars, so keep that in mind. Also most menu items were on the expensive side.

It was our first time at this restaurant, and it did not disappoint. The prices are very reasonable. We ordered the signature combo, which came with 2 beef meats and 2 pork meats, and it was delicious. The banchan (or side dishes) were super good. Our server seemed to be having a bad night, but other ones stepped up to the plate and the food made up for that. I would definitely come back.

The experience was very dysfunctional. My friend had a reservation of 10 for her birthday, and we arrived early to be seated and the hostess said we cannot be seated unless we had 6 people. I thought that was odd considering we had a reservation anyways, and I didn’t think it mattered if all the guests showed up yet. We waited in the cafe for about 15 minutes for 6 out of the 10 people to arrive so we can be seated. We went to the hostess and told her that 6 people are here, and she said we had to wait 15-20 minutes for them to clear the tables and put everything together. The hostess then told us that they’re about to close and handed us menus to look at while we’re waiting in the hall to be seated. All while this is happening people are showing up and being seated. We almost ended up leaving trying to find another restaurant, but the hostess said our table is ready.

We went with a group and loved the private room that could probably hold 20 people. It was nice to have an activity of cooking the meat while we ate. The marinated chicken and short rib were the best. The spicy pork was great if you like spicy. The pork belly was our least favorite. If we returned, we would skip that option. The complimentary sides were just okay – they could be improved imo with seaweed and cucumber salad. Do not leave without getting the Korean chicken wings. They were amazing. Our server Z was very attentive and friendly.

What a treat this was. I dined here with a group of friends and didn’t regret a thing. Everyone was able to order their own meat choices and a few of us went in together on the A1 Daebak Combo. I decided to splurge for the YOOKHWE 육회 and was pleasantly surprised. If you’re in the area you should add this to your list of dining experiences.

The service wasn’t great, I didn’t even know who my waiter was. When we asked to change the grill, she was impatient. It seemed we are disturbing her. Also, no one came over to ask if we needed help. By the way, the food was so good.
