I came for a good ol’ classic Italian dish and so had the 3-cheese and meat lasagna. I enjoyed it although it was a lot saucier than I usually have it. Maybe next time I’ll order sauce on the side rather than over it. Also the garlic bread was good but pretty small, usually get thicker slices. I was impressed with the size of the dinner salad though it was iceberg lettuce with some spinach. The tiramisu was a great dessert. Taylor was a great waitress. I would give this place 5 stars if they used greens other than iceberg in their dinner salad, gave you thicker garlic bread and offered canollis as well as various espresso drinks.

No place in this small town has more character than this place. Prices are modest and all food that I’ve had (many different dishes) has been tasty. Service has been good and staff has always been friendly. Friday night live music packs the place every weekend. I recommend this restaurant to anyone, everyone passing through our lovely little town.

The food was not good. The salad was tiny and wilted and brown around the edges, the fried foods were overly battered and overly cooked, the pizza was burnt around the edges and the toppings were all incorrect, we had to beg for drink refills, the whole place feels old, dark and outdated. When you walk into a restaurant that has good food, you should be able to smell good food, I smelled nothing here but old fabric smell from the benches. Oh, and we ordered two medium pizzas and they accidentally brought us a large and charged us for the large! I’m so tired of Google reviews that are doctored by local friends and family. This place is not worth eating at. 🙁

Really good pizza, especially because it’s thin crust and I love thin crust. We also had our dog with us which was awesome that they had a patio and allowed dogs on the patio. Another pizza place right across the street didn’t have a patio outside which is why we chose this place 🙂

Food was ok . I talked to two waitresses, first one didn’t talk much to me in comparison with other customers (that racist feeling ‍♂️), she never mentioned my plate came with a salad. Second waitress who brought our food was very friendly and polite, she apologized for that and brought my salad very quick; I didn’t leave a tip because it would be for first waitress, I’ll go back just to drop a nice tip to the very nice young waitress.

Really surprising tasty Italian! It is made from scratch for sure, and the prices are very fair. If you are going thru town on you way home it’s worth a stop. Our service was ok, very nice server, I just wish they were more attentive, but the food made up for it for sure. I’d make an effort to go back again, everyone at our table really enjoyed their food.

We stayed overnight in Payson, and wanted to find a good pizza place for dinner. It was a hard choice between here and Gerardo’s, but we choose Cardo’s because the food in the pictures looked much better. We are SO glad we went with this restaurant. Everything from the staff, to the ambience, and to the food were spectacular. The pizza was one of the best we’ve ever had, and the prices were very reasonable.

We ordered a medium pizza. Half veggie, half Hawaiian. Being a vegetarian I was pleased when I opened the box to see the veggies piled high. Unfortunately, they weren’t even warm. It was almost like they were piled on after the fact. Three pieces from a pizza filled half a paper plate of veggies. All were crisp not warm and the tomatoes were so hard you couldn’t even pinch with your fingers. The Hawaiian half was better but my husband said it was like the pineapple was refrigerated. They said it would be ready in 10 minutes and it was. It just wasn’t cooked. I guess I’m being critical but I didn’t want a salad. The veggies were that crisp. I now know their salads will be fresh.

We met some family in Payson on Monday and this is where we decided to go for lunch. I don’t eat meat, but if I did, this place has the most extensive menu filled with things I would have loved to eat. Luckily my choices are few, because I would have had a hard time deciding what of the things offered I would have ordered. Their pizza is really good. I’ve been seeing this place for years and assumed it was fast food, so I never stopped in before. My father ordered a calzone to go and the sucker was huge. The reason it’s sort of pricy is because it’s gigantic. Excellent food and we had a really nice waitress. We were lucky that the place was far from busy when we were there.
