Nice little spot for lunch if you find yourself in Cape Charles… which you should do at some point. Had the smash burger, was ok, felt like they could have seared it off a little more. Ceviche was great as well as the oysters Rockefeller. Would go back.

As soon as we walked in the door we felt welcomed. Laurie, the hostess, made room for us at the bar even when it was full (the owner occupied one of the seats we needed and happily relocated to accommodate us)…she even noticed I seemed a bit chilly and left HER OWN sweater on the chair just in case I needed it. The drinks were delicious and the food….AMAZING! We got the Bayside Nachos and I’ve literally never had better in my life. The bartender was friendly, efficient and absolutely wonderful despite the large crowd she was tending for. If you come to Cape Charles DO NOT miss the opportunity to experience this place. They deserve all the praise. Def made our Eastern Shore experience a great one!!!! Good atmosphere, EXCELLENT staff (and may I add that I, myself, am a server in a restaurant so we tend to judge service w a keener eye than most lol). If I could give them 100 stars I’d gladly do so.

From the moment we walked in everything was awesome. The greeting, the accommodation of our huge stroller, the service, the drinks, and of course the food. Exceptional work from the entire group. Went in for a late lunch with 3 kids, 2 adults. Seated right away, server was super friendly and the food was really tasty. The Cauliflower bites (Buffalo style were delish), kids enjoyed their burgers and cheese fries. And the wedge salad was also really good. We will definitely go back. Place is rather unassuming from the outside, don’t judge a book by its cover. Try it, you won’t be sorry!

Stopped here on my way home from Norfolk to Philly and I wanted some oysters. There is a very friendly vibe here. I sat at the bar and Becky was wonderful. The oysters here are a bit expensive ($30/doz) but they were absolutely as fresh as they get. Perfectly shucked and presented. Best oysters I had during my week in the Norfolk area. I also had the Hot Italian Beef Hoagie. It was not bad, but a bit on the dry side. (Hot Italian Beef sandwiches should be dripping with juices, right?) Overall, I would definately go back to this place again.

We tried the smash burgers. My wife’s included the house sauce which she liked (mayonnaise, ketchup, pickle juice and paprika). I passed on that and the pickled onions. Burgers were good but cost more than neighboring restaurants burgers when we checked local options while waiting on our food. Waffle fries were great. Atmosphere upstairs was darker than I prefer while eating. Great service by Raven. Thank you.

This place is amazing. First night, I had the sirloin with mashed potatoes and green beans and I wanted to order another one! Service was amazing and everyone was so friendly! My husband and I also ordered the chips and pico. Definitely suggest that too!

This bar and Grill, is amazing. Everyone is so friendly, and accommodating. The food is absolutely delicious I have been there many times, and everything I have always ordered has been wonderful. I am Italian, And love my pasta. AJ’s Pasta is exceptional. Our waitress Daryl, was also exceptional, she was truly on the ball with everything, Besides being funny, and very sweet. Looking forward to our next dinner at AJ‘s.

We are striking out big time in this town of restaurants. Going to grocery shop & cook all our meals for the remainder of our vacation. You should too. Seriously, don’t spend $80 plus on a meal for a family of a 4. You’ll be so disappointed on your waste of money. I saw our server twice during dinner. Had to ask the tables next to us waitress when we saw her to go find ours. Waited 40 or so minutes for our meal and another 25 min or so for a beer. It’s ridiculous. Then I got up myself to go get the boxes from the server stand & walked to the host stand to pay because we were so tired of waiting!!! If you’re a restaurant that wants to charge the pricing you’re charging you need to do better with the service. You should
