Amazing vegan junk food stop! The meatless burger was super tasty and filling. I tried the loaded fries “vegan style” as well, and they did not disappoint. The shakes here are the perfect amount of sweet! The place itself is a small walk-up and order window with limited outdoor seating. I was able to find street parking a few minutes away and I’m so glad I made time to visit during my short trip to LA!

I know this place is hyped up around the city but I just didn’t get it. I should try their normal burger to see if that’s where it’s at.

I have never personally eaten there because they are pretty expensive, but the front door of my house is a 15 second walk from my front door and I can see the place from my living room window, and I see the place every day of my life and the place is always PACKED, so they must be good. There’s usually a little line to order food. I did eat there years ago since they are my nextdoor neighbor when they served hamburgers that were made of real beef, not the vegan version they serve now and I loved the hamburgers and fries then and I wish they’d serve them again because I don’t feel like paying their expensive price for an artificial meat hamburger, but maybe I will someday since I can literally go there anytime I want. I do like vegan food, don’t get me wrong, I used to be a vegetarian for years and tried to be a vegan for awhile too, but I thought it was too expensive to get all the special ingredients you need to have a varied diet, so my husband and I gave up. Anyway, it must be good because there’s always people there. They are closed when I took this photo so, they must be closed on Tuesdays?

Just one vegan burger on the menu. Another burger is not vegan. Very minimalistic menu, the same way also loaded fries, homemade shakes are all vegan and they have around 4-5 flavors, made of a mixture of soy and almond milk with tahini. We tried both vegan items and one strawberry shake. It was all very good, pity, there is not more vegan things on the menu. Everything was tasty.

Great vegan burger, I wish the fries were larger or crinkle cuts because they get cold really fast. The parking is a bit tough depending on the time of day you go but everything is solid.

These burgers were so good, it‘s amazing that they‘re doing their patties all by themselves. This was the top 3 of all vegan burgers in La that we had.

A really solid vegan burger option in Chinatown just north of DTLA. It’s a walk up order at the window kind of place with outdoor seating. This was my first time today so I chose their house cheeseburger and also the brainburner which is their spicy burger. Their homemade patty tastes closer to a Beyond Meat patty versus an Impossible patty, so that all really comes down to preference. The cheese and the bun were very good and between the two burgers I would say the brainburner was my favorite due to the spiciness level and the provolone. The crispy chips also gave it a nice crunch in every bite.

Favorite veggie burger in the whole world – miles better than Monty’s and any others I’ve tried in LA – made fresh every day from actual vegetables – no impossible or beyond meat here. their breakfast burritos are my all time favorite to get from here along with the tahini milkshakes!! Not too sweet and just the right size. I’ll be a burgerlords fan for life

THE BEST meatless Cheeseburger that I’ve ever had. I got the gluten-free bun, and the whole Cheeseburger was GREAT. There is a lot of interesting Chinese architecture to look at and interesting things to look at while walking around.

I always enjoy Burgerlords but it seems like they’ve gotten even better over the years. I had the Braindead burger, made with crispy/chruncy jalapeño chips. Delish! Their handmade patties are a refreshing change from the processed name brand patties currently on the market.
