In 1987, our predecessor, Canton House, was established as one of Dothan’s very first Chinese restaurants. Johnson, the youngest son of the Canton House family, worked at Canton House with his parents and siblings for 8 years. He began as a dishwasher and worked hard to become a chef. Then around April 1, 1999, he opened up his own restaurant: Super Canton. Unlike the restaurant style of Canton House, we focus more on take-out, but still offer dine in. We use high quality ingredients and cook each order fresh while utilizing original recipes from Canton House. Over time, we have seen older Chinese restaurants shut down and newer Chinese restaurants open. Now, we hold the title of Dothan’s oldest restaurant.

Our first visit to this restaurant was actually a pleasant surprise. We headed inside rather than drive through, because we were unfamiliar with their menu. The Hunan chicken was delicious, with plentiful veggies and the perfect amount of extra sauce. The Mongolian chicken was somewhat less spectacular…but overall we were very pleased. The service was friendly and efficient, and our order was prepared exactly as we requested. Great value!! Count on driving through or take-out.

My family and I LOVE Super Canton! We hit the drive through, eat outside on the patio and also grab a seat inside sometimes. We love the egg rolls, chicken and broccoli, the fried rice is superb….the fried AND steamed dumplings never disappoint! My personal favorite is the corn and chicken soup. Sweet and savory! Everything HITS! The owner is always so sweet to my daughter. She acknowledges her each time we come through. We are here for the long run!

A large pork fried rice is almost 17$!!!!! Wth. Go to china wok and get the same amount for 9$. Not sure if I got the right amount but dang. I don’t ever go so not sure about the size. Picked up for my mom. Seemed like a quart size..comparing to china wok..

Always good! I got the C21 Triple Crown…. steak, chicken, and shrimp with veggies. The egg rolls are We eat there about once every 2 months because we live in GA. Definitely worth the drive. Sorry the light quality is poor in the photo ♀️
