The bbq and food is really good. I’ve tried several items on the menu and have no complaints. The brisket flavored baked beans are delicious. I recommend this spot if you like bbq.

The restaurant was very clean and organized. I love that the music isn’t an assault on the senses. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. The food was out of this world delicious. I ordered the 1/2 chicken plate with greens and stew. Eat this! Their portions are generous! Also, the fries are homemade!

I was really excited to come here seeing that the Owners are from Ohio but, the overall experience was a crash. I really like the culture and esthetic of the establishment, the food and service however we’re the downfall. The brisket and pulled pork were tender but don’t expect any wood, charcoal, smoke or any flavoring for that matter. The BBQ sauce had a strange greasy film on it, the macaroni noodles were extremely over cooked and very soggy, the greens also tasted strange. Everything had little to no seasoning. The service was also lacking, I tried to ask the young lady about the establishment menu and the owners she was very brief and dry. I did however capture the beauty of this establishment.

I called in a pickup order and the lady was super nice. At the end of the call she said itll be about 30 minutes, sounded a bit long but I was okay with it. After eating the meal I would have waited 2 hours for this delicious food. Everything was absolutely perfect. You can tell a lot of love and soul went into the creation of their food. Blows away any other BBQ place in the 3 county area. I will be back!

We ordered a holiday meal from Ohio Hog because our first choice was not available. I have to say, Ohio Hog is now our first choice. The barbecue pork was tender and delicious. The Brunswick Stew was the best we’ve ever had. The service was great, down to giving us instructions on rewarming any leftovers. We highly recommended Ohio Hog when you are looking for barbecue!

The food is decent and I have patronized this establishment numerous times, but the owner has the absolute most awful attitude and demeanor. My sisters and I go there a lot for lunch because I am building a new home in the area. I’m sure the owner recognizes us when we come in but nevertheless she is consistently RUDE. Other customers that she knows will come in and she is very kind and polite to them, but no matter how much we spend or patronize the business, her rude attitude is always there. My sister and I have both made comments to her about being nicer, but the comments continue to fall on deaf ears. I sincerely believe that if you want to be in business, you need to be a lot more nicer, a lot more friendlier, and show appreciation for the people that consistently patronize your business. Her husband, the other owner, is extremely kind, welcoming, and tries to genuinely show his appreciation for the customers. No matter how decent the food may be, if you don’t have that welcoming experience, then you can easily make a decision not to frequent this place again. Unfortunately this is not a place I want to visit again and I am certain that I would not recommend it to family or friends.
