I’m hooked on the carne asada burrito!! So much meat and flavor and huge!!! If you like hot sauce, we sure to ask for the hot one! My husband loves the quesabirria. Be sure to check them out on your stay in Escalante!

We stopped at Chihuahua, Garcia, Mexican Grill in Escalante Utah, and had some incredible food. If you are planning on visiting the slot canyons in Escalante Utah, this would be a great place to experience. The food is authentic and incredibly tasty.

Oh my!! The Quesabirria taco is amazing. It was kinda like a French dip in a taco, but better. This new little “authentic” taco truck is much needed in Escalante. The service was excellent and it was in a perfect location coming from Hole in the Rock Road! I highly recommend trying them out. Perfect lunch!

Oh, my goodness! O, mejor dicho, que rica la comida Mexicana!!! Actual Mexican flavor in the state of Utah! One of very few Mexican eateries that can legitimately make that claim! The Carne Asada was legitimately marinated and hand cut, served on home made tortillas and full of flavor. The burrito was packed with meat and other delicious ingredients. Street tacos in Tijuana are the only thing I’ve tasted that better this burrito. This comes from a San Diego native with real Tijuana street taco experience. We’ve tried many places in Utah, in search of good Mexican food. Who’d have thought we’d find it in the little town of Escalante?! In the parking lot of the local hardware and lumber store?!
