First time visiting this family owned and run restaurant that has been around for 47 years!!!! Popped in for a late lunch after a busy day of shopping and was so surprised by the food quantity, quality, presentation and reasonable price!! Had the Blackened Swordfish and Chicken Valdostana which was so amazing!!! Josephine was the sweetest server!! Afterwards, we had the very yummy toasted almond cake with some extra whipped cream and a mellow and coordinating Nutty Irishman cocktail! You simply must try them together because they each contain a wonderful almond taste!!! Love the bar, fireplace and piano too!! Nice classy touches!!! Even their butter is served in a pretty presentation!

This place is a hidden NJ gem. I came here every Easter as a kid, then moved away, got married, came back 15 years later with my parents and wife, and it was still exactly like I remember it. Excellent food, friendly staff, lovely and moody atmosphere, reasonable prices, and a great menu. I special ordered chicken fettuccini alfredo and it was the best I’ve ever had. My family loves it here and I hope to visit many more times!

Thank you so much for a wonderful Sprinkle shower! Everything was great from the beginning planning stages through to today! Bella & Sal were so friendly and helpful. Servers & all the staff were on point and made our day so special! And the food of course was amazing! Thank you again!

Excellent meal. I’d say best Italian food I’ve had in the area so far. Veal was tender and delicious. The vodka sauce was thick and creamy. Husband said Romeo and Juliet was a delicious meal. Great meal, great service. Can’t wait to go back.

We just had my sisters bridal shower there. From the moment I spoke with Bella on the phone, I knew this was the best place for us. She is so awesome to deal with. You can tell she is a pro at this and offers suggestions along the way. At the party, so many people were telling me how good the food was from the appetizer to the main meal. Let us not forget about the sangria!! Along with delicious food, the amazing ladies that helped at our party were just as superb!!! They continued walking around the room with a smile asking if we were OK. All around an amazing experience. Thank you for your sincere gratitude.

I attended a small baby shower at Carpaccio’s today. The food was pretty standard, portions were on the small side, bread was hard, no cheese was offered for the pasta, but nothing necessarily wrong with the food. The restaurant itself is old and could do with updating but it was clean. Wait staff were polite. What really annoyed me and the reason do my 1 star review was the beverages. To start there were 2 pitchers of ice water on each table, and pitchers of sodas and sangria on a table to the side. We went through the water fairly quickly and over the course of 4 hours not one pitcher was refilled. The wait staff left us completely alone except when dropping and clearing our plates so there was no one to ask for refills, and honestly no one should have to ask for WATER. By the end we resorted to the pitcher of watered-down (because the ice had all melted) flat soda because we were so thirsty. Such a simple thing but it made a huge difference. Once the sangria pitchers emptied the staff refused to fill those too. Maybe there was a limit to the sangria, I don’t know, but the water should have been refilled. This place clearly needs some help.

I have now been here for a baby shower (a few years ago) and a funeral (2 weeks ago). Beautiful venue, excellent staff and food. The sangria is delicious. They truly take care of you and your event/family. A lot of pink though

Had not been here for a while. It is as good as I remembered it. Food, service, and ambiance were all excellent . I asked for a veal dish made instead with chicken. Parking is plentiful portions are generous and prices are reasonable.

This place was completely underwhelming. Service is absolutely horrible, unless you are a regular. Staff does the absolute bare minimum, Calamari was incredibly cheap and unsalted. I got the Romeo and Juliet, which was a lobster tail and a filet mignon, and mashed potatoes, vegetables, and shrimp salad. The one bright spot was the filet, which was cooked really well, and had a pretty good gravy on top. However, the lobster wasn’t all that good, and the common theme with the mashed potatoes and vegetables was that they tasted freezer burned, and the mashed potatoes tasted fishy almost. Really not worth the price, would recommend saving money and going to Olive Garden, or Vincenzo’s down the street.

The ambiance in the inside of the restaurant is beautiful and they had our tables set up nice. BUT AND HOWEVER it took forever for us to recieve our food. Our party arrived at 4:30, we started to receive wonderfully plated food that tasted like it was right out of the freezer around 6pm. The house salad was giving the vibe of freshly hand picked grass from nearest park drizzled with bottled vinegar. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone anymore. This restaurant has really gone down. The food was absolutely disgusting.
