My Nurse find referred me to this spot and I must say I trust her taste buds. The food is made once ordered, SO YEAH super fresh.The chicken taco was flavored packed and tortilla was soft and irresistible along with the guava fresco. I also ordered a chicken crunch wrap but I ate it so fast it was that good.

Hands down best tacos I have ever eaten. I ordered a shrimp and a chicken taco and both were really well seasoned. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients in every bite. Couldn’t help myself but to come back and order again! The stuff were very friendly and the food was prepared by locals. You must try this place on your visit to maui.

I love restaurants that thrive despite less than perfect service or ambiance. That’s how you know the actual food is top notch. If I want a nice view on Maui, I’ll go to the beach. When I want impeccable service, I’ll just eat at home. And when I want delicious tacos made-to-order with authentic sides, I’ll go to Tight Tacos. This is my favorite spot for a quick lunch when I’m doing laps between Upcountry, Costco/Lowes, and South Maui. They don’t necessarily make each taco the same way every time, but I’m always happy to go with the chef’s flow. Having tried all flavors, carnitas and camarones are my top picks.

I just ordered takeout from here and am totally livid. First, I ordered the “Super” tacos (supposed to come with guac and crema, an extra $3) and there was none. Additionally, I got a plate that’s supposed to come with rice and beans. Instead, I got corn and salad? If you’re out of something then notify your customers… even if they order online – tell them when they pick it up. The tacos were also pretty plain… meat, onion, and cilantro. I could’ve easily made this at home. My gf ordered a bowl which also came with no rice or beans. Just corn and salad. Not my first time here, but def very disappointed with this experience.

First time and the chicken burrito I had was yummy. My girlfriend said her pork was dry but all the veggies in her bowl looked fresh. Pretty straight forward Mexican flavor. Sides were yummy. Its got the la mex food feel for sure. The lady who took my order was nice. I’ll definitely give it another go one day soon.
