We have NEEDED an Indian spot in downtown. This was my third time getting a takeout order. The guy working suggested the vegetable Korma and it is by far, my favorite! The korma is so rich and creamy. I also got their Ginger Tea. Perfect kick!

The family owned and operated restaurant brings a unique option to downtown Orlando’s restaurant scene. I was pleasantly surprised with their modern take on traditional Indian cuisine. The food was full of flavor, and don’t skip out on their mango smoothies! The spices used in each dish are highlighted which shows the simplicity of ingredients, and the intricate mix of flavors that make the dish so special. Knowing what goes into each dish also helped with choosing menu items. The interior decor was clean and modern. I also liked how you could sit down and enjoy a meal, or get quick takeout that’s fresh and made to order.

I am so happy to see an Indian restaurant in downtown. We were missing it for many years and finally we have one. The food is great and the portions are good enough. They also serve rose petal drink that I have not seen in other Indian restaurants, but it was a drink of my childhood 🙂

Clean and upbeat vibe with very pleasant staff! A good amount of food for the price – even my very picky teen enjoyed dinner. A great balance of flavorful and spice. We visited at a slow time and were invited to try some options they are thinking of adding to their menu – all super delicious! Can’t wait to return and are encouraging our friends to check it out!

I had never been a fan of Indian food and was sure nothing would change that, but agreed to give this place a try and expand my palate. Every Wednesday is lunch day and we chose Urban Turban. I had the butter chicken and my husband had the chicken tikka. I was blown away! And immediate mad at myself for not trying them sooner, considering they’re literally out my back door. It tastes like it’s homemade, like it’s made with love. Downtown needs this establishment. I’ve seen so many places come and go and I hope Urban Turban is here to stay! I truly couldn’t recommend this place enough!
