I was out with my grands and looking for a place to have lunch. Cugini is a moderate size Pizzeria with a restaurant dining room attached. I had the Pasta E Pagioli soup as a starter. I told the server that it was years since I had this soup with such great flavor. The portions were generous. I will will have to return to try their pizza.

I would stay away from this place if you like New York style pizza. The pizza crust was more deep dish style and was hard like it was cooked on a cracker. Two bites in a realized I’ve eaten frozen pizza that’s taste better than this.

Tonight: Ordered take-out, including mussels and they weren’t fresh. These were the most disgusting mussels I have ever seen. Probably dead before they were cooked. Anyone cooking them would know when they never opened up, many were cracked. Still they sold them to me. Makes me wonder what other spoiled food they would cook & sell.

I recently had to change pizza places from Gino’s of Carl place to Cugini, Cugini being the closest pizza joint. Gino’s was apparently too far away for them to deliver to my house. So far, I’ve enjoyed there food and I sometimes go into the restaurant for lunch or dinner ordering something other than pizza. But today, I ordered a large pizza pie for my family and I have to say it was the best pie I’ve had in a long time, additionally, the pie came within half an hour of ordering so they worked really fast to get my order out. I appreciate the hard work and the speed in which they work. Everything is excellent and the staff are pleasant to be around if you decide to go into the pizzeria!

There has been a sign on the restaurant for over a month saying that renovations are going to occur the restaurant has been closed for a long time I’m not sure why it’s marked as open they definitely need a renovation it’s not clean in there
