Always have the best food. Food is alway hot and fresh. The owners are so nice. They always give us a free bottle of soda with our order. It always comes faster than expected.

Take out only. Cash only. Egg rolls crisp; not overcooked like some places. Boneless spare ribs not saucy, not too fatty. Pork fried rice good. Egg drop soup nice and rich. I will come again next time I have a hankering for Chinese when I’m in Southington. My wife agrees

straight garbage in terms of value out of all spots i been to this been the worse I ORDERED SESAME CHICKEN LUNCH SPECIAL and theres nothing special about it you can get a small order of any entree that comes with the free little white rice anywhere else and it would come with more food. the lunch special here IS A SMALL CIRCLE CONTAINER WITH A SMALL PORTION OF ACTUAL MEAT AND NO EGG ROLL OR NO SODA some spots its a little more expensive 8.99 but you get a egg roll and a sofa and it comes in a RECTANGLE BOX through and through this place is a cheap rip off enough so i said what i said.

The people were friendly but the FOOD you know the important part was all garbage. I ordered chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce, beef teriyaki, vegetable fried rice, egg rolls, and chicken wings. The chicken wings still had feathers on them, the vegetable fried rice tasted and looked like it was pulled out of the trash can and put into a container. I will NEVER eat here again. Hong Kong would be very let down. If I was the Emperor i would personally shut these guys down and stop their whole line of families from selling this stuff. This place should be called Hong Kongs DOO DOO kitchen. If i could give negative stars i would. Even the white rice was bad…. like come on man how can you screw up white rice it was all slimy like it was covered in algae. I had been craving chinese food too so much for that craving…

This restaurant is amazing. I’ve ordered from others in town and as much as I love the personality of the competition the food doesn’t compare. The rice here has a fair amount of pork and they add onion, scallions and bean spouts which adds a nice crunch/flavor. The cashew chicken is amazing with celery and carrots all cooked perfectly. The only thing I’ll say is of you order on a weekend, be prepared to wait, otherwise pickup is always an option. Price is also very reasonable.

We did not like our food. The General Tsu’s Chicken had no kick to it, was more like orange chicken. My chow mein had no noodles and was mostly vegetables like celery, cabbage and onions. The chicken looked like pale white worms. Other places I have gone, chow Mein was always a bunch of noodles. I understand different places cook differently. The rice was cold, in spite being in with hot food. It had a strange dried out texture and lacked flavor. We ate everything anyway. The pork spring rolls were very good, except one was kind of burnt. I don’t understand what the fuss is about this place. It’s not good at all. Also, I spent half the night on the toilet with an upset stomach and we both had horrible gas. Will not go back again.

I frequent this Chinese food restaurant very often and I’m always happy with what I get. I think their pork lo mein is excellent along with the steamed dumplings. You should try the homemade mustard if you like spicy horse radish. Overall very good Chinese food!

Simple , delicious and traditional Mew York style Chinese fast food! The best in this area. Cash only, fast delivery, and so many tasty options ! The people who run this place are really nice people. I’m a regular and one time I went in to pick up my food, and I was very upset because my dad is ill. The girl asked me if I was ok and offered me a free soda. It’s little stuff like this that make Hong Kong Kitchen an amazing family run business! My faves are the Kung pao chicken with white meat chicken (otherwise you get a slightly breaded chicken ) their boneless spare ribs are also a family favorite! Thanks so much from 16D 🙂
